Would highly recommend Sammy swots. Great results with my son who is notoriously hard to teach. Sam was always so inclusive and supportive with what he needed to learn.

My son originally started with Sam for help with his English during his Sats. He struggles a lot with English but Sam has made it enjoyable for him and he understands more. She works on his strengths and pushes him to do the bits that he doesn’t like and will try to avoid. He’s now in year 8 and although he says he doesn’t like it he always comes out smiling and he is doing well in his English at school. I think without Sam’s support he would be struggling.

Our daughter has been seeing Sam on a weekly basis for a while now. Sam has built her confidence in Maths. The sessions are tailored for her and are fun to help with the learning which is what our daughter needs. The work is linked to her school's curriculum and future work is covered to help with thst confidence building. Sam is great - she is patient, kind, knowledgeable and professional in helping our daughter reach her academic goals. Feedback is given on progress and we can feed that into parents evenings at her school. Sam uses innovative teaching methods which have really enhanced our daughter's learning. Sam tutored my daughter for a number of years and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her as a tutor. My daughter was struggling with maths and as a shy individual was reluctant to volunteer answers or actively contribute in class. Sam was both patient and kind providing reassurance and encouragement which increased my daughter’s overall confidence in the subject and the class. Her grades also improved and Sam was instrumental in helping her make such progress.
