Academic success, 1st choice schools! Mrs Z. Burgess navigated us through 11+ exam preparation. 1-year course (Year 5 and summer course) provided foundations in English, Maths, Verbal and Non-Verbal. All required exam topics were taught thoroughly. Additionally, Mrs Burgess provided list of workbooks (20+ books) which we had to do over the year. Workbooks were more challenging than the usual Bond. Mrs Burgess’s dedication, children’s and parents’ hard work paid off: my son accepted Wilson’s Grammar School offer and a friend Wimbledon High. Mrs. Burgess is a very good teacher who is committed to what she does. She isn’t only teaching maths and English for 11+, she is a life coach. Mrs Burgess has given our daughter, and I am sure other children, a very solid learning foundation not only for the exams, but also for the upcoming education in top level academic secondary schools. I very much appreciated that the regular mock tests provided my daughter opportunity to practice what exams would feel like, how to manage emotions as well time to make sure you get the best result. My daughter has also learned that if you put effort, if you are consistent and don’t give up when it is hard, you have much more chance at success.
