Kumon has proved invaluable for both our children, especially during this pandemic. It ensured the kids kept learning everyday. Our youngest is in year 6 and thanks to his progress in both maths and English, goes into senior school with the confidence he needs, as he is currently 2 years above where he needs to be in the curriculum. Our eldest is in year 9 and in his words ' I would have fallen behind without the help of Kumon while we were learning from home'. As parents, you need to also put the effort in, but the rewards really do speak for themselves. Chen and the Kumon Team are always there for us and willing to help. It really is one of the best investments you can make for forwarding your children's education.

I had a very positive experience at Winchester Kumon Centre, both as a Kumon student (throughout my primary and secondary school years) and later as an assistant working at the centre. The Kumon method helped me to develop specific maths and literacy skills, but also enabled me to develop independent study skills and a positive approach to learning. Working at the centre was also a valuable experience, and I enjoyed working as part of a friendly and competent team. I would definitely recommend the centre for students of any age or ability who want to pursue their personal learning goals.

Kumon has been a great investment into my children's (11 and 13) education over the last 2 years and Chen and the Kumon Winchester team provide exceptional service. We have been doing Maths and English and both children are now 1.5-2 years ahead of the school curriculum and very confident self-learners. The added benefit of English is the rich and diverse content they get to read and work with that expands their view of their knowledge on a daily basis. Through the pandemic Kumon provided the much needed stability in learning and the organisation of online lessons was exceptional, much better than school lessons. To this day, I appreciate the amount of data and insights we are provided about the children's progress and how exceptionally well-organised the study centres, events and communication are.

I have been having French classes with Laure for 3 months now and I feel a huge improvement in my ability to converse in French. The classes are excellently planned and the content is very relevant to what I am needing. I am feeling the improvement each week. The online platform is great and very interactive and easy to use. I had been looking for a while to find somewhere to learn French and practice speaking, I am so glad I found Zest! Vraiment excellent!

We are thrilled with the progress our son has made during his short time in Laure class. Laure is a wonderful teacher. Each lesson is carefully prepared, with many fun activities to engage the children. It's definitely lots of fun. I highly recommended for anyone wishing to learn french.

My husband and I are two fairly elderly francophiles, keen to improve our command of French, and having tuition from Laure has been a real treat. The reviews on this website demonstrate how much her enthusiasm for enabling her pupils of all ages to acquire skills in her native tongue, are valued. We found all her lessons to be well structured, engaging, topical and fun. She is warm, receptive and patient. Topics for study are very wide ranging, from popular French songs and school menus to news reports about China and discussions about holidays and popular French villages. I have joined the LinguaFast Language school around July 2023 to learn Japanese. I have to say that the experience so far as been really great! The Japanese teacher has a lot of experience having lived in Japan for a lot of years and brings with her the linguist knowledge and the culture which I love to hear about. The classes are well presented and we do a lot of exercises that allow us to have the theory and put it into to practice. I joined an awesome Japanese group class with amazing people and we all have a great passion for this culture which makes the class even more enjoyable. I definitely recommend this school since is such a joy to be part of as a student.

I have been studying with LinguaFAST for nearly six weeks and Viktoria has been very patient in resurrecting my very rusty GCSE French and starting to turn my command of the language from the mediocre into something more competent. She took the time to understand what I wanted to achieve, assessed my current level and then tailored the content of each lesson appropriately. She really tries to make you speak French as much as possible during the lesson, which is rather daunting at first but pushes you to become more confident in expressing yourself in the language. I would like to thank Tom for all the support he gave me during my A level Biology course. I achieved an A in my A level Biology exam. The A level Biology group lessons were very informative. Along with the information provided in the lesson, Tom used active recall to test us on our knowledge and engaged us in the lesson which deepened my understanding and retention of A level Biology concepts. Furthermore, when we answered long question types we would use an interactive whiteboard to answer the questions, and he would regularly check our work and provide areas of improvement for our answers.
