I contacted Ash Tutors as I needed help with my 6 year old son who has been struggling in literacy. As a primary school teacher myself, I wanted someone who was as passionate with kids as I am and obviously it was setting the bar high to ensure his tutor met my high standards whilst I was teaching other children! I couldn't be happier with the tutor that Geoff has provided. Jo is incredibly professional, well prepared for every lesson and my son is already making tangible progress. His confidence has increased massively along with his self esteem and happiness. 5 stars from me and I already recommend Ash Tutors to other parents in a similar position. I contacted Geoff recently as I need support for my son in his final GCSE year in all three sciences. Never having used 'tutor agencies' before I was attracted to Ash Tutors as it seemed to be a little different - smaller and somehow more personal. On first contact I was very impressed with the detail to which Geoff went in assessing our needs in order to find the most appropriate tutor. Geoff put us in touch with Gemma whose approach is absolutely fantastic - super efficient, supportive and positive, going to a lot of trouble, initially and as an ongoing basis to understand our needs such that detailed learning plans are developed from a very informed perspective. She is massively enthusiastic for her subject and her teaching. Her teaching and learning strategies are engaging, fun and everything I associate with excellent teaching and a good student experience. From first contacting Geoff / Ash Tutors I can honestly say that I have been very impressed with everything about them. Most importantly there is noticeable improvement in my son's engagement with the subject and there is early indication it's resulting in better grades.

I just wanted to thank Ash Tutors for the services in providing my daughter with English lesson. Rachel has been brilliant in building my daughter's confidence. They got on really well and my daughter felt really at ease with Rachel and looked forward to all the tuitions. I’ve been working as a Secondary English Tutor at The Tutor Trust for nearly a year and it has been such a rewarding role. As a student, the excellent pay and flexible hours were perfect for my hectic schedule during the final year of my university studies. The assignments offered to tutors are varied and accessible, and the staff have great communication and offer support on assignments and valuable feedback on lesson plans. Working for the Tutor Trust as a primary school tutor has been the best experience. My son attended Bolton Hub Tutition for English Maths and Science. All tutors including Fatima were excellent. My son enjoyed his sessions and said the tutors were lovely. Kind friendly and understanding of his requirements. They were flexible and when i asked to move sessiin or for more it was no trouble. He received his results yesterday and passed all his subjects. Fatima has been tutoring my home educated child for the past year. She has been exceptional in her teaching of Maths. Approachable and friendly in her manner, she makes my child feel relaxed and so he is able to learn with ease. He has come on leaps and bounds since Fatima has been tutoring. She is incredibly supportive towards myself, being his parent too. His passion for the subject has grown and I would go as far as to say that Maths is now his most favourite subject! I am always kept up to date with progress. The Maths he has learnt with Fatima has also helped him with other subjects such as Chemistry and Physics. Kip McGrath Walkden is an amazing place for any child to get the customized academic support that they need. The tutors are warm, encouraging, qualified, engaging and very tuned in to the needs of each child they teach. My children have wonderful things to say about all of their tutors and I see this reflected in how well they are doing at school. 5/5 for outstanding value! My son has just been offered a place at a grammar school that was his first choice. My son has been attending Kip McGrath for six years and absolutely loves it! He feel so comfortable there that it doesn’t feel like Work to him. Sam and all the teachers there have helped my son pass his entrance exam to get him into his dream school. They are very encouraging and make him feel confident when doing his work in school. If there’s something he’s struggling with, he will bring it in and Kip will teach him multiple ways of answering questions, he is struggling with so he can answer them with confidence. I’m pretty certain that he will stay there throughout the whole of his school education because he absolutely loves it and I would recommend the centre to everyone.

My daughter attended the 11 plus lessons here and absolutely loved it. The tutors were great and we received feedback on progress periodically. They got homeworks to do outside of their weekly tuition . I'm pleased to say that my daughter was succesful and scored very highly in the exams, enough to secure an offer in one of the outstanding grammar schools, even though we were outside catchment area. My daughter went there to prepare for 11plus exam. The tutors are all amazing! They helped my daughter and pushed her to reach her best and boosted her confidence a lot. We have used Choice for Maths and English tuition for GCSE. From the outset, it felt as if care had been taken to understand our needs and match the tutor specifically to us. We contacted Choice Home Tutoring when it became apparent our son was struggling to get to grips with his Biology A-Level course.
