I've been coming to the study club for two years, studying English and math, and it has helped me tremendously. Both math and English have excellent teachers who focus on helping you with anything you're struggling with and ensure you understand it. I just completed my first PPE and was nervous, but when I tackled math and English, I felt confident because I knew everything. I was predicted a target grade of 5 but achieved a 7 (only 1 mark off a grade8!).

Choice Home Tutoring really made the difference as the tutors helped my son pass the 11+ exam and the entrance exam for Manchester Grammar School. At the beginning Jo made sure that we had a tutor that was compatible with our needs and as a result our son greatly benefitted from start to finish. We have used Choice for Maths and English tuition for GCSE. From the outset, it felt as if care had been taken to understand our needs and match the tutor specifically to us. Both tutors have been absolutely lovely and I have seen my daughter’s confidence grow significantly in both subjects. On top of that, all the administration around invoicing etc is also very efficient and accurate. I would definitely recommend Choice to others and will use them again in the future.

I cannot thank choice tutoring enough for perfectly matching my son with his English tutor. I cannot recommend Lee at Kip McGrath enough. My daughter attended to prepare for her GCSEs and not only did we see her improve academically but her confidence increased too. It is a warm and friendly environment, the tutors are very engaging with the students and we found that she looked forward to going it was never a chore. So much so that she wants to continue attending through summer to prepare for A Levels. I think Lee has been pivotal in ensuring she reaches her full potential. If you are considering getting extra help for your year 10 particularly given the disruption to schooling this year I wouldn’t hesitate in going to Lee at Kip McGrath

To everyone at the Ramsbottom branch. I decided to use Kip Mcgrath for my Grandson Joshua S whose Maths mock result was a little disappointing. He required a grade 6 to take his chosen A level. He started a course in mid March which was one evening per week specifically for Higher Maths. Within a couple of weeks he was showing a marked improved confidence and understanding of the subject matter. His first two exam papers he reported he had found them reasonably easier and he had managed to answer almost 100% of the questions. His last paper was a little more difficult but he was still able to answer 80% and attempted the remaining 20%. I am sure that, would not had been the case if I hadn't decided to choose the Kip Mcgrath programme. The tutors are very dedicated to the children and are completely invested in improving their understanding and knowledge. I believe this was the best gift I could have given my grandson and would 100% recommend Kip Mcgrath to any parent/grandparent looking to aid their children.

My daughter attended Bury Tuition for only four months prior to sitting the 11+ entrance exam and Shazia and the team gave her the encouragement, guidance and confidence to successfully gain a place at our first choice Grammar school. I couldn’t recommend Shazia and Bury Tuition Centre enough. I have used them for both my children during the preparation for their 11+ assessments and they are both well ahead of where they need to be, not only academically, but in their confidence also. Unlike other group tuition sessions, here the teachers focus individually on each child’s level and work so we really feel like the sessions are tailored and they get the best out of their time spent. A friendly, caring and direct approach to learning is just what they needed to get them through the exams, and even after, they come back for sessions to ‘top up’. Perfectly located with easy parking which is a huge plus when running around after school with kids. And most importantly for us; they both feel very safe and listened to. Thank you Shazia!

Kip McGrath Walkden is an amazing place for any child to get the customized academic support that they need. The tutors are warm, encouraging, qualified, engaging and very tuned in to the needs of each child they teach. My children have wonderful things to say about all of their tutors and I see this reflected in how well they are doing at school. 5/5 for outstanding value! My son has just been offered a place at a grammar school that was his first choice. His tutors at KM Walkden have been amazing at offering bespoke advice, guidance and support all through his 11 plus journey. My son has been attending Kip McGrath for six years and absolutely loves it! He feel so comfortable there that it doesn’t feel like Work to him. Sam and all the teachers there have helped my son pass his entrance exam to get him into his dream school. They are very encouraging and make him feel confident when doing his work in school. If there’s something he’s struggling with, he will bring it in and Kip will teach him multiple ways of answering questions, he is struggling with so he can answer them with confidence. I’m pretty certain that he will stay there throughout the whole of his school education because he absolutely loves it and I would recommend the centre to everyone.

I found Garry through Yell and have been extremely impressed with his manner and professionalism. My Daughter was struggling with Maths and I wanted to help her get through her GSCE's. This was the one shot. Garry's easy going personality and teaching method ensured that he and Grace worked well together, even though the lesson was straight after school on a Monday! My son has really enjoyed attending the online sessions for the 11 plus Accelerator programme. Each week there is a different topic that all the children learn. During the lessons everyone gets the opportunity to talk and ask questions. Helen provides informative and enjoyable lessons. Helen's Achievers+ Programme was a fantastic experience for our son. He genuinely looked forward to the weekly online lessons, which were thoughtfully planned and perfectly balanced between maths and English. It was clear how much care and effort Helen put into each session, from the preparation of engaging resources to her constructive feedback on classwork and homework. My son started on the Achievers+ online programme last year. I’m really pleased with the results so far, I can see a tangible improvement in both ability and confidence. Alex tutored both my children who were then able to go on to college to study A levels having successfully gained their maths gcse. They benefited tremendously from his one to one sessions.
