Starting using Alex in the December before my daughters GCSE ‘s in May. My daughter had been reluctant to go to a tutor but finally accepted she needed some help. In December she was predicted a 4 and after only 5 months with Alex she got a 6. My daughter really enjoyed the sessions with Alex and after just a few months she much more confident. Alex tutored my girls for 2 years in the run up to GCSEs as they were struggling to understand the subject at school. So glad we found Alex as he struck just the right balance of fun and discipline. My girls enjoyed the sessions and did work in between as he suggested. As a parent I felt confident as he also kept in touch and let me know when they needed to work harder! We are all delighted with their results and I would definitely recommend Alex to anyone considering a maths tutor.

Alex tutored both my children who were then able to go on to college to study A levels having successfully gained their maths gcse. They benefited tremendously from his one to one sessions. Alex gives honest updates about your child’s progress and expects pupils to do home learning in between the sessions. If you want your child to do well, they will benefit from Alex’s input.

Helen's Achievers+ Programme was a fantastic experience for our son. He genuinely looked forward to the weekly online lessons, which were thoughtfully planned and perfectly balanced between maths and English. It was clear how much care and effort Helen put into each session, from the preparation of engaging resources to her constructive feedback on classwork and homework. What stood out the most was Helen’s warm and encouraging approach. She created a supportive atmosphere that really helped our son build confidence, especially in areas of English that he had found challenging before. He also loved the group setting, which gave him the chance to connect with his peers and learn from their contributions. We’re grateful to Helen for helping our son make great progress. My son started on the Achievers+ online programme last year. I’m really pleased with the results so far, I can see a tangible improvement in both ability and confidence. Learning materials are excellent, lessons are fun while maintaining a focus on learning objectives. Parent communication is great, my interactions with Helen coupled with the results I have seen so far give me the confidence that she really knows how to bring about the improvements I was hoping for when accessing additional tuition. My son has really enjoyed attending the online sessions for the 11 plus Accelerator programme. Each week there is a different topic that all the children learn. During the lessons everyone gets the opportunity to talk and ask questions. Helen provides informative and enjoyable lessons. Helen has been a fantastic tutor for my son and has provided him with the confidence and motivation to put in the hard work. I would highly recommend A star Tuition Group.

My son Zahir recently started this tuition group and the progress I can see within just a few months is incredible. Not only do they perfect his academic skills but I am also frequently made aware of my son’s development. The teacher and student interaction is something I admire as now my son actually enjoys being taught and retains knowledge in a more desirable way. I have been apart of aim high since the start of year 10 and I don't regret it. these lessons have helped me with my gcse and has helped me through out year 10 and 11l the teacher make the lessons enjoyable such as my English teacher with the jokes. my science teacher helps me whenever i ask so does my maths teacher I look forward to learning as I know it will benefit me in the future

Stuart is a great English teacher. I’ve learnt a lot more than I have at my old tuition . I was at my old one for 6 years but learnt more in the 4 weeks I’ve been at aim high with Stuart. My math teacher is very approachable and always helps the students; his teaching is very calm and understandable overall he has helped my grades go from a B to an A. I finally understand what’s going on in science because my teacher actually takes time and makes sure each student understands the content which I appreciate. Overall aim high has deeply helped me and helped me raise my grades.

I couldn’t recommend Shazia and Bury Tuition Centre enough. I have used them for both my children during the preparation for their 11+ assessments and they are both well ahead of where they need to be, not only academically, but in their confidence also. Unlike other group tuition sessions, here the teachers focus individually on each child’s level and work so we really feel like the sessions are tailored and they get the best out of their time spent. A friendly, caring and direct approach to learning is just what they needed to get them through the exams, and even after, they come back for sessions to ‘top up’. Perfectly located with easy parking which is a huge plus when running around after school with kids. And most importantly for us; they both feel very safe and listened to. Thank you Shazia!

I would highly recommend Shazia and her amazing team. My daughter attended Bury Tuition for only four months prior to sitting the 11+ entrance exam and Shazia and the team gave her the encouragement, guidance and confidence to successfully gain a place at our first choice Grammar school. both me and my children use the services at Hindle's School, I get tutoring with my A level's My daughter receives one to one tuition to boost her education and my Son regularly attends as an alternative SEN provision. The Holiday provisions are safe and extremely fun and event filled for children of all ages and are very well thought out and put together. The Staff are extremely welcoming and have helped us all immensely, the school has amazing facilities for disabled people and non disabled people and all the students and parents I have spoken to whilst attending have always been extremely positive and full of praise for the staff and facilities. The school is very clean and tidy and every one follows correct covid guidelines at all times making you very comfortable in the current situation. There is an unbelievable amount of resources available for all ages and a real wealth of knowledge and understanding of peoples differing needs. Both myself and my children will be continuing to attend and I highly recommend to anyone needing some support with their learning or with any SEND needs at all.

Hindle's School has lit a fire back into my grandson, as he has not wanted to be in school for such a long time. He asks about when he he is going in as he is so excited about attending and learning. I have also received endless support with his dietary needs, SEN needs and education links with school. His confidence has improved and Joanne allows him to work at his own pace. He is writing now instead of having everything done for him. He is a happy boy and becoming more independent day by day.
