My son was tutored by Christopher leading to him securing a place at his first choice of Grammar School. I saw a really significant improvement in my son's confidence and knowledge. His creative writing skills came on leaps and bounds after attending the creative writing workshop. I would highly recommend Christopher and Eleven Plus Tutors, especially their creative writing workshops and practice exams.

We first approached Christopher in February/March this year. After an initial assessment, our daughter commenced weekly lessons with one of the tutors (Jeremy). Jeremy was very approachable, friendly and our daughter got on very well with him from the outset. Jeremy was very good at explaining things and when my daughter was uncertain, she never felt uncomfortable telling him that she did not understand. Jeremy provided lots of papers to assist my daughter in preparing for the 11 plus and even she has said that the mock test (arranged by them) was helpful as she definitely felt less nervous about the actual exam. We received our daughters results yesterday and we’re so pleased that she had passed and not only did she get the required score for the school we had hoped, she also gained a enough to be considered by Altrincham Grammar. We can’t thank Christopher and Jeremy enough for their help and support and we would highly recommend them to anyone considering putting their child in for the 11 plus :)

My son was tutored by Christopher for eight months prior to the eleven plus exam. He was able to consolidate his knowledge in both maths and English, and fill in any gaps in his learning needed for this exam. Christopher also helped with strategies for verbal and nonverbal reasoning. Hari attended the exam preparation sessions, mock exams and some of the essay writing workshops. I can’t recommend Christopher highly enough. Hari was offered a place at his first choice Grammar school and was offered an academic scholarship at his first choice independent school. My younger son, with a very different learning method is now being tutored by Christopher and is thriving in his lessons. We are currently having online lessons with Christopher which are working extremely well. I would highly recommend anyone planning to put their children in for entrance exams to contact Eleven Plus Tutors.

There aren’t enough compliments for Rifat and her exceptional teaching skills. Her patience, perseverance and her obvious passion for teaching have transformed our son. He was taught English and Maths and there has been a phenomenal improvement in our son. There were times when he surprised both of us with his ability to solve difficult mathematical challenges using the skills he had been taught. He passed all of the independent school exams and we cannot thank Rifat enough for everything she has done over the last year.

I owe so much to Manchester Tutors for the incredible support they provided me with the QTS numeracy skills test for initial teacher training. After months of trying out different tutors to help my son prepare for the 11+ exams , we came across Manchester Tutors. Abigail got back to us very quickly. We discussed what we needed and what I was looking for in a tutor. She reassured me that she will match my son with a suitable tutor for his needs which many tutor organisations fail to do. She matched our son with a tutor within 48hrs. Our tutor ( Christopher) is absoultly brilliant. He is very knowledgeable about 11+ which is hard to come across in my experience. The resources he uses are challenging which is needed for 11+ exams. The tutors are excellent and very professional. Communication fantastic and responsive. My daughter has learnt so much in the past pew months. I was worried about her learning over lockdown but she has picked up so much! It’s been impressive! Really appreciate the quality of teaching. My daughters connected with the different tutors for different subjects which is priceless! They enjoy the sessions rather which really makes all the difference. Thank you!

My 9 year old twins share a tutor, Amanda, who teaches them maths and English for one hour a week. She is a great influence on them, very charming and positive and they get through so much work with her. Really pleased with the progress my twins have achieved with Amanda.
