A great experience having my crown replaced. So professional. I even had a colour match to ensure no difference would be noticed. I also felt no pain which is important to me. I am a very nervous dental patient, but I needed work doing. Dr Paras was fantastic. He was so kind, understanding and patient with me. And with no judgement for having left it too long between visits. He made a very anxious time much more bearable. I had a fair bit of work done, with only some discomfort afterwards. Highly recommend, especially if you are an anxious patient.

have lived with crooked teeth for 40+ years and despite Sue’s efforts to help my gums I was always struggling to keep my teeth in good nick. In no way a criticism of DDS, but my frequent visits to the hygienist were costing me a lot of money and I was stuck in a loop of having crooked hard to brush teeth and gums that seemed to enjoy snagging any smelly food to later embarrass me with bad breath. I had spoken to Sue and also the dentist about braces but the cost required were out of my price range and I also required jaw surgery to realign my top & bottom jaw as for some reason they had fallen out with each other! I was looking at around £24,000 of treatments at a time when I was struggling to stay on top of my hygienist payments, Sue and the DDS took this on board and though they couldn’t offer me ‘mates rates’ Sue was able to successfully refer me to the NHS. I don’t want to put DDS in a position where they’re held hostage to my admittedly unique experience but it was pretty amazing that a business that needs to make money to survive was able to do this for me and I suspect the reason is because ultimately Sue and the wider team genuinely care about their patients. I was referred to the Eastman University in London where I was offered free hygienist appointments, had my 4 wisdom teeth extracted, wore fixed braces for 2 years and my jaw is now in line. Aside from my travel into London this was all free. I should also mention that the team at Eastman had to present to the board on the merits of offering me all this and I also had to give a little recap on what had got me to this point in front of them but today as I write this I’m on a packed train and I no longer have the shame of keeping my mouth clamped shut from shame of people seeing me and judging me on my teeth. The day after my braces were off and my permanent retainers were fitted, the first thing I did was book a hygienist appointment at DDS, I’m pretty careful with money for sure but I knew that Sue would get a kick out of seeing me again and to pay DDS for the incredibly valuable NHS referral. One final thing to mention is that between me getting referred and actually being in front of someone at Eastman - it was about 18 months.
