I recently had an urgent electrical issue following an installation by Octopus Energy. After they installed a smart meter, I experienced a major problem where my fuse box exploded, blowing out (not just tripping) two fuses. It was a stressful situation, to say the least. Woke up to no power to our downstairs sockets. Had tried all the usual and couldn't find the fault. A new consumer unit and power socker were installed. The work was done very professionally. The installation happened neatly, tidily and without fuss. I felt fully consulted and informed as the work proceeded.

From start to finish absolutely professional I had very dodgy fuse board witch now looks very nice and neat, I also had a fault which was sorted very quickly and rewire my lighting, I will definitely use Blue Earth Electric again

Everything going smoothly at moment. Arrived on date/time to review the best way to rewire and make safe (the wiring is 100 years old). Have received a competitive quote which we've accepted and confirmed date to start the works. Received an email providing more details regarding days to do complete work, movement of furniture , removal of fragile items , vehicle parking permit registration details. So everything seems well organised and ready to go. Will provide a further update once the work has been completed. Work has now been completed and Jose & team have done a wonderful job rewiring the house, plug sockets removed and neat plastic coverings on the old holes. We had some surface trunking done because we didn't want the channelling and parquet flooring taken up. My sister was able to still have electricity and stay in the property while the rewiring was completed. Many thanks Jose and team for all your hard work which was done in a very professional manner.

I've used JB Electrical Contractors for over 20 years since I bought my current house. They've done everything from installation of new consumer unit, running cabling for electric cooker, upgrading my garage electrics & installing new lights & sockets, running armoured cabling from garage to power summer house, exterior socket installation and security lights, replacement of internal sockets, fitting of bathroom spotlights, fitting kitchen LED undercounter lighting, fitting ceiling and wall lighting . I might have forgotten a few as I've used Jose and his guys so many times over the years! The latest job was 22nd July 2022 where a faulty socket was replaced and new kitchen wall lights were installed. Without fail the service I've received from Jose and his guys over the years has been consistently excellent. The prices are competitive and quality of the work excellent - never had an issue with any work done. The guys are always polite, respectful of my property, turn up when they say they will and thoroughly clean up after themselves. I'm no electrical expert by any stretch of the imagination and I personally don't touch electrics except for plugging things ...lots of them ... in sockets - I leave that to those who are, but any question I've ever had, no matter how trivial, Jose has taken the time to answer and to fully explain which is much appreciated. His advice over the years has increased my understanding and given me peace of mind. 18 years and I keep coming back to Jose & JB Electrical Contractors- that should tell you everything you need to know? I called Ayan Electricians after searching for local Electricians on Google. Nadeem gave me a quote over the phone, to change six old downlights, which were proving to be problematic for me. He gave the best and, in my opinion, the most reasonable quote. He arranged to attend on Thursday, which he did, notifying me before he left that he was on his way. I'm really happy with the work and the communication from Nadeem, and will hopefully be using his services when needed in the future.
