JB Electrical were recommended to me by a friend. I had an intermittent problem that was very difficult to understand. JB responded immediately and sent a very pleasant electrician the next day. It took several visits and a great deal of patience for him to determine the issues and rectify them. I found their charges to be very reasonable and will not hesitate to use them in future.

Everything going smoothly at moment. Arrived on date/time to review the best way to rewire and make safe (the wiring is 100 years old). Have received a competitive quote which we've accepted and confirmed date to start the works. Received an email providing more details regarding days to do complete work, movement of furniture , removal of fragile items , vehicle parking permit registration details. So everything seems well organised and ready to go. Will provide a further update once the work has been completed. Work has now been completed and Jose & team have done a wonderful job rewiring the house, plug sockets removed and neat plastic coverings on the old holes. We had some surface trunking done because we didn't want the channelling and parquet flooring taken up. My sister was able to still have electricity and stay in the property while the rewiring was completed. Many thanks Jose and team for all your hard work which was done in a very professional manner.

I've used JB Electrical Contractors for over 20 years since I bought my current house. They've done everything from installation of new consumer unit, running cabling for electric cooker, upgrading my garage electrics & installing new lights & sockets, running armoured cabling from garage to power summer house, exterior socket installation and security lights, replacement of internal sockets, fitting of bathroom spotlights, fitting kitchen LED undercounter lighting, fitting ceiling and wall lighting . I might have forgotten a few as I've used Jose and his guys so many times over the years! The latest job was 22nd July 2022 where a faulty socket was replaced and new kitchen wall lights were installed. Without fail the service I've received from Jose and his guys over the years has been consistently excellent. The prices are competitive and quality of the work excellent - never had an issue with any work done. The guys are always polite, respectful of my property, turn up when they say they will and thoroughly clean up after themselves. I'm no electrical expert by any stretch of the imagination and I personally don't touch electrics except for plugging things ...lots of them ... in sockets - I leave that to those who are, but any question I've ever had, no matter how trivial, Jose has taken the time to answer and to fully explain which is much appreciated. His advice over the years has increased my understanding and given me peace of mind. 18 years and I keep coming back to Jose & JB Electrical Contractors- that should tell you everything you need to know? Cant cant fault them - no hesitation to recommend.

Simon first came out to replace an extractor fan. He worked quickly and efficiently and left the bathroom spotless. I then asked him to advise me on my outdoor lighting which had been playing up for a long time. He and his team replaced the lanterns with some much better quality ones and separate sensors which they adjusted perfectly so that they only come on when there is movement within the boundaries of my property. I am very happy with the result and wouldn't hesitate to recommend him. Would use again. Since placing this review I needed a damaged light sensor replaced. Well, I can't believe how quickly it was sorted. The sensor was replaced within 3 hours of my phone call - what amazing customer service!

Simon & Matt of Current Electrical are highly competent electrical contractors who were careful to discuss our needs on site before helping us install a new power supply and data cable conduit for a future EV charging point, and to choose and install a consumer unit upgrade at our house in west London. All along we were given options with meaningful comments until such time we had decided to commit. Making significant wiring changes will be with you for a decade or more so it is important to make a good decision up front rather than just go for a cheap option. We had other works going on at the time which saved on excavations and decorating required following the electrical upgrades, and Simon arranged to work with and around the other trades. They also were very considerate laying down floor protection where necessary and cleaning up thoroughly afterwards. This was our first time using Current Electrical, based on a third-party recommendation, and are very satisfied with the service provided and the relationship through the whole process. We will contact them first for any future electrical works.

Simon and the Current UK Electrical team have been everything we could have hoped for from an Electrical Engineer when we converted an out building into an Annexe. Costs - No hidden fees, all as quoted and finished on budget. Speed - They were on site and out before we new it, first and second fix all done in a matter of days. Quality - Simon clearly cares a great deal about the finished article, and that is shown on the high level of finish. This ethos has filtered down to the rest if the team. I used ECM to rewire my kitchen, the work turned out to be quite a lot more than first anticipated due to the previous owners of my house being DIY experts 🙄 Joe was the ultimate professional, he didn’t grumble once he just got my job done for me. I was expecting a big extras bill but even that was very very fair. He’ll be on the Christmas card list this year for sure! Would highly recommend.
