My 24 year old and 250000 miles Lexus LS400 suddenly started a whistling sound from the engine area. Discovered it was the power steering pump. I couldn't find any garage who could fix this as no new pump could be found. A friend of mine suggested Autopoint in Hitchin. Just brilliant. They removed the pump and sent it to someone they knew who rebuilt all kinds of stuff. One week later it came back and Autopoint connected it. Brilliant. It WORKED! Not only that. My car had started a rattle under the passenger foot area. Nobody could find it, but Autopoint did. Properly adjustment to the under shield and the car is now silent. And I am very content with the £400 cost.
