I was on my way to a nearby cafe for a quick bite and coffee when suddenly thought I should better go to this cafe suggested by my friends. I turned around and headed to Armadillo in Virginia Water. Greeted by the lovely staff who were very pleasant. Asked for the wifi and they gave straight away, saying it may be temperamental but worked well. Ordered a double macchiato and spinach and feta omlette. Absolutely loved tbe food, tasty and fresh. You can actually smell the cookies made freshly on site - I was even offered one to try. Oh my, i was expecting a small thing, what I got was a cake plate site but delicious. My friends, who suggested this gorgeous little place, recommended their Scotch eggs which are out ot this world. If you are visiting this gem of a place which I highly recommend - you must (i mean “must”) try their Scotch eggs and you will understand what I mean. Needless to say, I will return to Armadillo - sooner than I expected.
One of the best cafe's in the neighbourhood that's currently up for the best cafe in Surrey. The interior is full of lovely art and the cafe is also pet friendly. The food menu is solid and so are the drinks, especially the shakes. And if you aren't too hungry, make sure you at least get the scotch egg which is full of taste.
Lovely cafe serving great coffee. Friendly service and serves breakfast, sandwiches and jacket potatoes for lunch. Cake selection too.
Always a smile and a hello, love their snacks and sandwiches. We come for a coffee and scotch egg after a dog walk or even a cycle so a nice environment to relax in.
