I booked a night in the King’s suite for a surprise propose to my partner. The room itself was spacious, well equipped and felt like luxury. There was also a Christmas tree in the living room which was a nice touch. Julian on reception and the housekeeping team made the occasion extra special by helping to prepare room decorations before our arrival. We also enjoyed the restaurant food, even though the menu was a bit limited. The hotel lounge was cosy and very festive. It was a very memorable visit and I would highly recommend a stay in the King’s suite if you were after an extra special experience.

We recently enjoyed a delightful stay at Woodlands Park Hotel for a couple of nights. The hotel itself is a charming blend of history and modern comfort. We were captivated by the beautiful old wood paneling, traditional fireplaces, and the meticulously maintained grounds, perfect for leisurely strolls. Despite its historic character, the hotel boasts up-to-date amenities. Our room was exceptionally clean and comfortable, featuring a large flat-screen TV and a cozy bed. The room was so nice and cozy we almost over slept and missed our check out time when we were due to leave. The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful, always greeting us with a friendly "Hello." We were particularly impressed by Aysha at the reception desk. She went above and beyond, sharing fascinating insights into the hotel's history and even showing us a collection of old photographs showcasing the building's evolution over the years. We wholeheartedly recommend Woodlands Park Hotel to anyone seeking a memorable stay. It truly deserves more than the standard five stars and really should be a “6 Star Review”,

The hotel organized a funeral wake for my late mother. Its a beautiful hotel and they provided a great service. Many thanks to Cheyenne for managing it all and the great staff who looked after us on the day. I simply can't fault anything about it! Many thanks.

A very noisy family Christmas in this quite country manor hotel. We were a group of 7 who fancied a year off hosting and cooking so found this lovely Christmas package at Woodlands, we had a few teething issues with rooms etc. but it was all handled excellently by the amazing staff from the get go - we know we can be a little difficult sometimes! We had the most incredible meals and service. Special shout out to Slav, Santa and Aysha and also others who's names I can't remember who made the stay extra special for us. We were blown away by the food and friendly staff. Thanks all :)

We enjoyed afternoon tea at the hotel, and it was amazing! The restaurant is very cozy, and the staff was superb. When booking, I mentioned we were celebrating a birthday, and they made it special by greeting us with birthday wishes and a beautiful 'Happy Birthday' plate. The food was lovely, and we couldn’t finish all the cakes, so we got to take them home in a box. We couldn’t recommend this place and their afternoon tea more!
