We visited Malabar Indian Restaurant last Thursday, and it was a delightful culinary experience. We started with some appetizers, opting for the alu tikki, chicken lollipop, and calamari. Each dish brought its own unique flavor and texture. For our main courses, we chose the prawn curry, railway lamb, and a mixed grill. The prawn curry was a highlight; it was rich and aromatic, with perfectly cooked prawns soaking up the flavorful sauce. Throughout the meal, the service was attentive and humble, making sure we had everything we needed without rushing us at all. The ambiance of Malabar was warm and inviting, which added to the overall dining experience. our evening at Malabar was a gastronomic delight. I highly recommend trying their alu tikki and prawn curry, but honestly, you can't go wrong with any of the dishes we tried. I’m already looking forward to our next visit!
Enjoyed a lovely evening here with friends. Delicious food, beautifully presented. Attentive staff. Was very quiet, probably due to being mid-week in January. Will definitely be returning.
First meal after name change to Malabar from Rania. I liked Rania. A meal for four of us on a Saturday night was actually very very good. A nice welcome from the new Owner/Manager. Good service. Comfortable ambiance. Exceptional value for food and drinks. Excellent delicious food. We are so impressed with this new/old venue and will defo return. (I’m a Cranleigh local.)
Rania is a great place for delicious Indian food.The staff was friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed. The restaurant has a cozy atmosphere with beautiful Indian decor. Prices are reasonable for the portion sizes. Overall, it’s a solid choice for anyone craving authentic Indian cuisine.
