Surrey Hills Coffee - Roastery
Hackhurst Farm Cottage, Hackhurst Ln, Dorking RH5 6SF, UK
Phone: 07805 571520
“I've been buying Surrey Hills Coffee for the last few years after stumbling upon their roastery. For me the coffee is second to none and I always return to them for my regular orders. There is a wide range of ethically sourced coffee beans for all tastes and the website always has great information about each coffee. On top of that Chris & Monika are always happy to talk about their coffee and offer recommendations. I am so happy there is a small, local roastery I can support that consistently offers great coffee. Thank you!”

“I am totally in love with this place. We were there for breakfast around 9 AM in the morning and we were their first customer ☺️. Such warm staff, they served us really well. They come and ask you if everything is ok, if you like your food or not, If you want anything specific with your food. They have preserved their place really well and written everything about the story of how this place has started.”

“Heartwork Coffee Bar in Dorking was a delightful surprise! Found by accident, it quickly became a favorite. The coffee is excellent—smooth, rich, and expertly brewed. The outdoor chill area is a perfect spot to relax and enjoy your drink. The bacon rolls are delicious, perfectly crispy and satisfying. The vibe is relaxed and welcoming, making it a great place to unwind. Highly recommend if you're in Dorking and looking for great coffee and a laid-back atmosphere!”

“Adorable cafe with inside and outdoor seating. I saw on the menu they do a pre-book afternoon tea as well! The loose leaf jasmine tea was a bit strong, but the pot was a very nice piece and my avocado toast was the delish. They compensated for our group of 6 and we all paid separately very easily!”

“One of my absolute favourite places, and can't believe I haven't written a review before! Fabulous food, both brunch and pizza. We always feel very welcomed and whenever the menu changes it's super exciting to find out what absolute genius meals they've come up with again! (Although I do miss the Mexican eggs, so crossing my fingers they'll be back this summer!) If I could give them more than 5 stars I would!”

Abinger Tea Rooms
Guildford Road, Abinger Hammer, Dorking RH5 6RX, UK
Phone: 01306 730701
“Popped in with my friend and had the French ploughman’s and it was delicious! It’s a very traditional tea room with traditional cups and saucers. Service is slow but delightful so if you’re expecting quick service you’re in the wrong place. As we were leaving they apologised for the wait but we were not bothered about waiting as it was a lovely intimate experience. I will definitely go back again!!”

“Great place to go for breakfast, then followed by a nice walk along the amazing wetlands! Parking is great and free. There is loads of room outside including awesome outdoor pods which we used last time. The food is really nice and priced fairly. My personal tip is to arrive just after it opens, or around 9:30 - it’s not very busy then, and has a brilliant atmosphere. The staff are extremely friendly too.”

Two Many Cooks
32 South St, Dorking RH4 2HQ, UK
Phone: 01306 882200
“A specialty cafe with a healthy menu, calming décor, wood tables, local merchandise, smiles of the servers. My sausage sarnie came with red onions in it of which its sweetness went well with the pork, the sourdough freshly moist, the meat freshly juicy. My wife's avocado on toast was wholesome but the avocado was cut in halves though garnished with red pepper. I would prefer it being smashed and seasoned.”

“First time to this cafè as I was in there area. Very nice cafè with good social distance measures in place. I ordered ham, egg & chips and was nicely surprised to see I got proper ham (thick ham) not the thin ham from the packs. Prices are fair and food is a good standard. Staff are friendly. If your in the area you should pop in.”

“This is a wonderful little farm shop that has some fantastic food and friendly service. The shop is lovely. Seems to be all home made food very nicely presented. Service is friendly and efficient. The seating area is quite large with some big tables. Outside area is also available. Would really recommend a visit.”
