Located inside a wonderful emporium, perfect for a snack or drink, while you ponder on all the super things to buy. Down side, it is upstairs, so no access for any one with mobility difficulties. Staff are nice, prices slightly steep for what you are getting, but clean.

Brilliant cafe, does the best coronation chicken baked potato and sandwiches. My husband loves the veggie breakfast. Cakes are good too. Bob (my dog) loves the sausage lady who always gives him a sausage when we visit. Very dog friendly, even with my over excited lad 😱. This is our go to cafe on our dog walks all year round.

I ate, drank and chatted at Baker Street Bistro & Bar for the first time today having just stumbled in after moving to Ramsgate. And everything was an absolute delight. The décor’s a dazzling mix of arty, provocative and fun, with antique instruments, tin toys, William Morris-y wallpaper and technicolour curios everywhere. Love it! The vegan breakfast was amazing value and really, really good - a piping hot plate of delicious, healthy goodness. And their americano with oatmilk was so good that I had to try very hard indeed not to order another (and another). Service? Excellent. Fast and super-friendly. And Tracy is a legend! I can’t remember the last time I’ve laughed so soon and so much on meeting anyone, let alone the manager of a venue I’ve just walked into for the first time. After the fabulous breakfast and world-class coffee, I had some admin to get done so I decided to stay and work (not least because of the brilliantly eclectic playlist that had been tickling my eardrums since the moment I’d walked in). The warm, relaxed vibe made my morning zip by in such a pleasant flash that I simply didn’t want to leave when I was done. Highly, highly, highly recommended. My new favourite place. If you haven’t been then do yourself a massive favour and get down to Baker Street Bistro & Bar - places with this good an offering are far too rare. Five BIG stars!

The bistro located upstairs at the Ramsgate depot-vente is an absolute gem. The warm and inviting atmosphere is enhanced by the charming decor, filled with an array of vintage elements that give the place a unique and cozy vibe. The staff were incredibly friendly, going out of their way to interact with our children and accommodate their specific dietary needs. It’s not always easy to find places that are so willing to adapt, and it made our visit all the more enjoyable. The prices were also very reasonable, making it an easy choice to return here the next time we’re in town. Overall, a delightful spot that we’ll definitely be visiting again.
