Amazing little cafΓ©! The staff is very friendly and fast. The selection is very good and very affordable. Food is well made and delivered quickly. Everything on the plate, from panini to fries to salad was delicious! They also have amazing coffee that's very professionally made and delicious dessert. Recommend for tourists passing through and any locals that haven't already found this gem.

Good priced breakfast, decent portion and friendly staff. Unfortunately, the coffee was not very good therefore the 4 stars.

They do very good food with nice generous side salads. The staff are friendly, hardworking, folk and it's a good place for coffee. The clientele are a mixed bag. If you're lucky it's peaceful, but at other times the bling bling tracksuit mob turn up and treat the place like a pub taking loud phone calls in various languages.

My local shop as I live in the town centre and I couldn't be happier to have it on my doorstep! Coffee is always on point, the manageress (I think she is the Manager as she is there seemingly every day) is really nice and always acknowledges her regulars, and the team as a whole are all super friendly...love the place! I decided to have my first Chai Latte this morning. I am a died in the wool latte drinker, and was reluctant to change. I asked the staff to read the ingredients to me and boy was I surprised the Chai latte tasted like Christmas. I loved it and I’ll be coming back for more. I had to have a ham and cheese toastie to go with it theirs are the best in the world. The COSTA staff no matter where I go around the world are very friendly and lovely and helpful.

Been on holiday to Folkestone and on the last day me and my family decided to check in here for breakfast. The full English was delicious, the mushrooms well cooked, the bacon wasn't too dry nor too juicy, just perfect. Lovely staff and good customer service. I also want to say that since I arrived in Folkestone I've tried quite a few latte's from a range of cafΓ©s but the Market Square served me with the best Latte yet. Definitely recommend.

Quality of the breakfast was amazing, must be great for those visiting on cruise ships when they come to the town as its so close. Served with a smile and friendly conversation by staff who really care about the work they do! Will definitely be back again!

I have eaten and enjoyed numerous meals in this cafe. I think the reason that you have sat down and been "ignored" is because you have to order at the counter. This request is stated clearly on the wall. Enjoy!!

Brunch cafe

22 Biggin St, Dover CT16 1BH, UK | Brunch Restaurant
P: 01304 448470

Rating: 4.1 (280) Price Level:

Stopped in for a breakfast to take with me to the train station. I ordered a decaff iced coffee, and a bacon, brie and cranberry panini (Β£10.90 all together). The coffee and food came quickly, and I took it away to eat. The panini was delicious, and the iced coffee was good too, just could have done with some sugar added to the hot coffee before it was poured, but I didn't ask for sugar so that was my error. The manager was around checking things and the staff were friendly, wearing their hair coverings and were presentable and clean. I'd recommend this establishment and will very likely be back again, next time I'm in Dover.

We didn’t realise this was a halal restaurant when we came in but actually really enjoyed the halal English breakfast - everything was cooked to perfection and very tasty, and they were very good on ensuring my food was dairy free. Kids also enjoyed calamari and chips, and a panini, and generously sized smoothies. Service was exceptionally friendly. Definitely recommend!

Morrisons Cafe

Bridge St, Dover CT16 2LB, UK | Cafe
P: 01304 203452

Rating: 4 (186) Price Level:

The cafe has everything you need for a pit stop food & drink, any food orders are put in at the till. There is a little wait but nothing too long, but be warned it does get a little busy Saturdays. The prices are reasonable for the portions you get. There is plenty of room space so there is always somewhere to sit without sitting on other guests. Friendly polite staff are on hand to help.

Rating: 4 (95) Price Level:

I have visited a few times and every single time I have been served with a smile. The staff working here are super welcoming and lovely. The white hot chocolate is my favourite and I had their big breakfast for the first time yesterday and it was delicious. Their home made sweet treats are also delightful too especially the shortbread. I highly recommend this place for anyone who is visiting Dover. It’s a great spot by the sea on the beautiful marina!

What a fantastic cafe. Lovely coffee, very friendly staff and good food. We went here each morning on each of the three days we spent in Dover. As a coffee house owner myself I was very impressed with this place. The standard of the coffee was very high and service top notch. Unfortunately my place is in Cornwall or I would of attempted to poach the staff. Georgie and Niki would be my top pick but the others were not far behind. If your a keen cyclist then this is also a great place to come. Cycling memorabilia all over the walls and a 2018 Paris-Rabouix cobble! Nice! Also dog friendly which is great. It's a great place to stop after the Saturday park run as well. If it's busy then don't be surprised as good coffee and good food take time to create. I read a review on here with someone moaning about this. Well my answer to that is get fitter and finish the park run quicker so you can order first is the solution there. Very impressed fellow coffee house owner. Top work.

Excellent quality food and coffee. Perhaps understandably therefore it is expensive! We arrived at 1255 which was lucky because they stopped serving food at 1300, which seems early (closes at 3pm). Edit: 2pm in the β€œwinter”! Great location in the port area, and utilising an old dock building (actually the old Lifeboat house 1866).
