I was nervous to do such a drastic change but Ruby was fab about it, hyping me up. She managed to get my dark brown hair completely silver in one sitting which is way more than I thought we’d be able to achieve in one appointment. The whole experience was lovely, even the young lady who washed my hair. Ruby made me understand that I might not get the results I wanted after one appointment as lightening hair is long process, but she was brilliant and knew exactly what I wanted. I love the atmosphere here too

My hairdresser of 30 years retired and I was very nervous about my first appointment. However I didn't need to worry, the welcome from Terri was excellent and I was put at ease straight away. Izzie was my stylist and she spent time listening to what I wanted and talked me through the process, all the time making me feel very relaxed. The end result is amazing, I am so pleased with my cut and the whole experience at SO. Look forward to seeing you again in 6 weeks. Thank you.

I have had my hair cut and coloured by the same hairdresser for 15 years until my friend recommended me to Ashley, after her first experience, because she was so impressed. I am very precious with my hair so it was quite a big thing for me to go somewhere new. From the outset, I was made to feel welcome by all the staff. I had a lovely head massage by one of the ladies who was really friendly and made me feel at ease. Ashley was great. He listened to what I liked about my hair and how i wanted it to look and then he proceeded to cut my hair exactly as I requested. He was really friendly and obviously very passionate about cutting hair. I have since recommended Ashley to a number of friends. I recently had my hair done by Ashley, and I couldn’t be happier! For years, I’d been traveling miles to see another hairdresser, but I felt they had become complacent and weren’t really listening to what I wanted anymore. From the moment I met Ashley, I knew he was the right match for me. He took the time to truly listen and understand my needs. I have a chronic hair condition that leaves my hair thin and unable to grow, which has always impacted my confidence. When I shared my concerns with Ashley, he listened with such care and empathy. I walked into the salon feeling vulnerable, but I walked out feeling like the most confident version of myself. Ashley is nothing short of amazing. He made me feel so special, and the transformation was incredible. For some, hair might seem superficial, but when you don’t have much of it, it can be deeply upsetting. To leave the salon with a beautiful head of hair was such a confidence boost. Ashley is an absolute gem. If you’re looking for a hairdresser who truly listens, understands, and delivers, look no further! I can’t recommend him enough.

I had been with my old hairdresser nearly 8 years however the travel out of Ashford was too much with my life and job. I looked at online reviews for salons in Ashford and Gorgeous stood out as both highly rated and 10+ years in business. I arrived early but immediately the atmosphere was amazing. When I was seated and explained what I wanted, the wonderful owner knew exactly what I was asking for and was extremely knowledgable. My hair came out looking amazing and so soft..! I took a chance to find a new hairdresser and I got lucky first try. HIGHLY recommend.

Got my hair recently done here and I did not know what I wanted all I knew was I wanted blond fading from the brown and they took that and turned it into something amazing. Once again it was brilliant. My colour was carefully selected and extra time was taken to ensure that it was finished as expected. Saks kings hill (really forget name the lady look after my hair ) so attentive and takes great care with her styling. I have been to Sam for both lash extensions and Lip filler. I've got to say Sam is the best beautician I have been to by far and I've been to a few! She's warm, welcoming and extremely knowledgeable. My first time going to Cream Hair and Beauty after trying a lot of hairdressers in Tonbridge. They were recommended to me by a work colleague. Friendly polite and very helpful. A fabulous salon in a beautiful village. I visited yesterday for the 2nd time. It's only small but the atmosphere and the staff are lovely. It's good fun and you're not made to feel unwelcome. I had a full head of foils and a corrective haircut. I am a very happy girl. The prices here are very fair and you have plenty of free parking. I will definitely be going back in the future.

10/5/23pm - I had my first visit to The Hair Academy Ashford, I walked through the door and received a very warm welcome. I was booked in and Thalia (1st Year student) showed me to a chair. She listened to what I would like done. She then had a word with her tutor Annie who gave her some advice. I had my hair washed with a lovely head massage. The whole way through my appointment Thalia was very professional, she did ask Annie a few times about the cut who was always on hand and encouraging. The salon was busy but it felt relaxed, friendly and professional. It did take a little more time than if you go elsewhere but I felt that I was being taken care of. All the way through I felt really comfortable and came away with the best hair cut I have had in a long time. I made another appointment on my way out. The prices are very good. On my experience I would definitely recommend visiting the hair academy. Thank You.
