I have been going to Milena's for over ten years now. Her and Marion did my mum and mother in laws' hair for my wedding and I now bring my little boys in for their haircuts too. Marion cuts the best bob in town and she's brilliant with the boys and they've never been nervous of a haircut. My 3yo even has the clippers and he's not the least bit scared because marion makes him feel so comfortable. It's a lovely salon with a friendly and totally unpretentious atmosphere. I wouldn't go anywhere else. And if you need your brows done, Jana is your girl...she's an absolute magician!

Karla was the lovely lady who cut my hair and let me just say I have not had my hair cut for 2 years and I was anxious beyond belief. Karla put my mind at ease with her knowledge and experience, she knew exactly what I wanted and does not pardon the pun “cut corners”, everything was pleasant, friendly and professional, I felt like I had known her for years so I will deffo be coming back! After having some bad experiences with hair dresses before, I wanted to find someone who would understand what I wanted and needed - Brooke knew immediately the style and reasoning for it! She was amazing, kind, funny and has helped my nervousness! 100% recommend Brooke! I'm already booked in for my next appointment with her! 🖤

I have been getting my nails done (biab gel) by Mae since November and I absolutely love getting my nails done at Baker Miller studio. Not only is her artwork absolutely insane, but the atmosphere Mae creates in the studio is wonderful. She provides such a warm and inviting space, and the energy Mae and Ruby create genuinely picks up my mood when I go to see them. And not only this, Baker Miller studio promotes a respectful and inclusive space which I think is great. I always get so many compliments on my nails and never leave disappointed.

I have been going to Mae at Baker Miller for BIAB since November 2021 and have been every month since. From my first appointment til now, Mae has been so welcoming and kind and I feel very lucky to now call her my friend. Every single set of nails I have walked away with I have adored, Mae is such a perfectionist and I have made so many of my friends go to Mae and they’ve all converted too! My nails always last so long and I haven’t had any chips or issues with them compared to nails I used to get from previous places. Also the salon is GORGEOUS and such a great, fun atmosphere. Always will be my top recommendation for nails in and around Portsmouth! ✨💗🥰

I had two girls do the make up for our wedding day one of them was Annabel, they was amazing. Myself and my bridal party make up was perfect and it stayed on all night. Dora has completed a Brazilian blowdry (Keratin Smoothing Treatment) on my hair today and I am amazed!! My hair was becoming impossible to maintain and after exhausting all options, I finally booked in and I’m so glad I did! Thank you to lovely owner Emma for fitting me in for a wash, cut & bouncy blow dry last minute on a Friday afternoon. She even curled it for me which was very sweet. I was in the area visiting family and chose her salon on a whim and am very glad I did! Emma was so lovely and welcoming, and my hair feels SO much healthier, bouncier and beautiful! I’m very happy with the result and will return!

This is the first hairdresser who didn't tell me I have to cut off my dead ends. I am trying to grow my hair so I didn't want my ends touched. And she didn't touch them. She kept the length and listened to what I wanted. Gave in her input about my layers and it was an amazing experience. Also what a nice head massage whilst getting a wash. I got the Groupon special - I paid £20 for a consult, wash, cut and condition treatment. And she used the hair iron and styled my hair at the end and didn't charge me. I am so happy I came across this salon. This will now be my hairdresser in my new residential city - Portsmouth

First time using this salon after purchasing a voucher from a discount site after a much needed hair cut was due and fancied a little something different to my usual but Undecided what I was actually after... Upon arrival, I was offered a drink and a seat. Madi was the stylist who helped me with everything in regards to my hair. She went over options in tone, length, tried to help me in what would suit and was generally chatty and helpful. I had a good chunk cut off and some subtle highlights, and she genuinely looked pleased at her work which was lovely to see!! I was quite shocked at not only how quick it took although nothing was rushed but also at how different I felt after some self care. (Much better!!). All the ladies were attentive and polite and I was offered drinks throughout. Their prices are good value and I think I will be returning!! Thank you very much!! 😁😁😁
