I cannot thank the ladies at Georgina Chambers enough, when you get married you want you and your bridesmaids to feel beautiful and confident for the whole day and the evening too and that’s exactly what Faye did, the make up she applied was flawless, all 3 of my bridesmaids looked beautiful and I (the bride) was over the moon. The whole process from the day I booked (over a year in advance) until the minute our make up was completed on my wedding day was dealt with in the most kind, helpful and professional manner. What a fantastic Make Up Studio with a very talented team of artists. Thank you all so much.

I had two girls do the make up for our wedding day one of them was Annabel, they was amazing. Myself and my bridal party make up was perfect and it stayed on all night. The girls looked very professional, they arrived promptly. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them and will mostly certainly use them in the future. Thanks girls!

Absolutely love getting my nails and lashes done by Sophie, such good service and always have a laugh, she makes you feel so comfortable to the point I fall asleep getting my lashes done, she is amazing and the end result never fails, won't go to anyone else, thank you so much 😊

What a wonderful first time experience at Jazz Rawlins. Ellie’s great experience put me totally at ease to deal with my tricky blonde tape extensions. She was a joy to meet & really knows her stuff. What a lovely hairdresser, I will definitely be back!!!

I rarely write reviews, but I think this hair salon should receive recognition it deserves. First, Jazz was amazing with trying to help me after I was not satisfied with my hair dye in other salon. She was able to organise the appointment urgently to fix my hair. Also, I would like to thank hairdresser Jess, who did my highlights - she was very friendly, focused on job and very gentle. I am very happy with my highlights and service. If I ever come back to Portsmouth and would need to re-do my hair, I would definitely come back here. Thank you

I’ve been going to Baker Miller since it opened and having my nails done by Mae for years prior. She is the only person in the world I would have do my nails. She is an absolute joy to be around and does the most incredible nail art 🫶 10000% you have to book in 💓

I have been going to Mae at Baker Miller for BIAB since November 2021 and have been every month since. From my first appointment til now, Mae has been so welcoming and kind and I feel very lucky to now call her my friend. Every single set of nails I have walked away with I have adored, Mae is such a perfectionist and I have made so many of my friends go to Mae and they’ve all converted too! My nails always last so long and I haven’t had any chips or issues with them compared to nails I used to get from previous places. Also the salon is GORGEOUS and such a great, fun atmosphere. Always will be my top recommendation for nails in and around Portsmouth! ✨💗🥰

This was my first time to The Beauty Retreat and it was fantastic from start to finish. I had a wax with Donna and she was absolutely brilliant. She put me at ease immediately and made me feel so welcome & comfortable. This was the best wax experience I’ve ever had and Donna took the time to explain everything clearly and answer any questions I had. I've tried a variety of their services, and each one has been carried out to the highest standard. I just had the most painless Hollywood wax done by Donna. The atmosphere at the salon is amazing, very clean as well. Donna made sure to explain everything to me before the treatment, which I think it’s very important. She handled everything with professionalism and was lovely chatting with her. I definitely recommend booking with Donna if you are looking for a quick and painless waxing treatment. I will definitely be back at the Beauty Retreat!

Found Waxing 4 Beauty through other positive reviews. I was very nervous as I have problematic skin(allergies, acne etc). Nina called me after booking to discuss this with me, it was clear that she was very knowledgeable and instantly put me at ease. She contacted me again the day after my appointment to make sure I was OK and had no negative skin reactions. I go to Nina monthly and honestly would not go anywhere else. She is professional, thorough and her studio is immaculate. Always a comfortable experience.

Wow 🤩 what can I say!! Fantastic experience from my consultation to my end result. My hair had been over coloured via home box kits I had a consultation with Jacob who rest assured me that things could be fixed and wow, my nightmare was over.. I spent around 5 hours in the salon having my colour fixed plus a trim. The whole team made my experience pleasurable (and what a great team they are).. Always love getting my hair done there! Staff are friendly and I’ve never had an issue once. I usually get a layered cut and a gloss done, which they have a lovely range of colours to pick from. Couldn’t recommend them enough, especially Grace!!

I have been going to Milena's for over ten years now. Her and Marion did my mum and mother in laws' hair for my wedding and I now bring my little boys in for their haircuts too. Marion cuts the best bob in town and she's brilliant with the boys and they've never been nervous of a haircut. My 3yo even has the clippers and he's not the least bit scared because marion makes him feel so comfortable. It's a lovely salon with a friendly and totally unpretentious atmosphere. I wouldn't go anywhere else. And if you need your brows done, Jana is your girl...she's an absolute magician!

Had the most amazing balayage done yesterday by Roxana who is a resident hair stylist at studio B. The service was exemplary in every way. The care and attention that was taken by Roxana is the best I think I’ve ever had by a stylist. It was a 121 consultation and personalised service and I was so pleased with my hair. I also had colour correcting done as I had previously used a box colour. You would never know, she done such an amazing job. I’ve had so many compliments from my family and friends. I love visiting the salon. You are always made to feel welcome by the owner Birute who also offers hospitality like no other. Refreshments at the ready to make sure you are comfortable at all times.
