I got my hair done at Ama’s salon nearly a month ago, and I have nothing but positive things to say about my experience! First of all my hair still looks great even though it’s almost time to take it out, booking the service was straightforward and the website has plenty of detail about all of the services offered. I booked in for single plaits medium size, and they are so beautiful. The energy of the salon is friendly and the braiders and stylists dedicated time and hard work to get my hair looking perfect. Clean parts, neat plaits like I honestly couldn’t have asked for anything better. Next time I will add to the notes that my hair is long and will take time to do,to avoid taking up the braiders time, it was my bad I didn’t realise quite how long it was before booking 😭 my apologies for this. Ama you have created a lovely, warm atmosphere at the salon and you have an incredible team of hardworking people there ❤️. This was my first time getting my hair done in London and I think I’ll find it hard to go anywhere else. They filmed some really cool videos after my hair was done but I forgot to get them sent to me 😔 but I have these pictures that I took!

I was there for the first time and hadn't made an appointment, although the store was already full, Maria somehow managed to squeeze me in. The reception was extremely friendly and courteous. Although the store was very full, everything seemed very organized. I am grateful and satisfied for the professional and friendly service.

The customer service in this Salon is top notch. I feel my daughter to this Salon for the 1st time for a wash and blow dry. The attention we got from members of the staff was outstanding. Everyone cared about our comfort. I was even given a lively coffee while my daughter was having her hair done. The owner went round several times to make sure customers were OK. The staff was very warm. I will return their for my own hair and recommend them to others. Well done Ama Hair Salon. Keep up the good work.

If I could add another 5 stars I would. I called the salon to let them know I would be bringing my 3 week old daughter as well as running slightly late and they were very understanding and polite. Throughout my appointment my daughter only woke up twice in her buggy and they didn’t become frustrated at all and while I was getting my hair done they sat me in a seat closest to my buggy. Ama’s son also sat beside my buggy and kept an eye her throughout my appointment voluntarily which I couldn’t be more grateful for. I have quite severe PTSD when it comes to having my hair done and haven’t been to a hair salon in nearly 10 years, nor have I allowed anyone to wash my hair in this time as I become very anxious. Thais (my stylist) was the most gentle yet thorough stylist I have ever experienced and she made me feel so comfortable. She washed my hair perfectly and even massaged my scalp, as well as not getting any water in my ears which is one of my biggest fears. When straightening my hair she was very careful and throughout the appointment, made sure I was okay. When trimming my hair, she showed me how much she was going to trim which a lot of stylists do not do and she did not go past the length we agreed on. Every member of staff I encountered with during my appointment was so lovely and accommodating. Ama herself was so kind and attentive. She’s done an amazing job with this salon and they have definitely gained a new regular customer. Thank you Thais and thank you Ama! ❤️
