Our experience today at Salute was lovely. we hadn't booked but were shown a table outside (having been given the choice of in or outdoors) with an umbrella for shade.
I always like a place that provides a jug of cold tap water and the cocktails we ordered were beautifully presented and tasted yum!
The staff were friendly, attentive and polite (especially Leo who impressed me enough to make me want to make this review) and we didn't feel rushed in anyway.
We ordered a pizza and a pasta dish and the offer (two mains and one side dish for £25) meant we ordered a bowl of skin on fries too.
In a lovely setting by the church, the atmosphere both inside and outside created a really nice lunch out.
We had my mum and dad's Dimond wedding anniversary at Salute at the White Swan. The staff was fantastic, very helpful every one of them . They all worked so hard to make everything go smoothly. Thank you to all of them .

The food was excellent, the pizzas were excellent, and the cold buffet was excellent. Couldn't folt anything. Thank you to the kitchen staff.
The atmosphere was excellent it was piped music with a good selection. I would definitely be recommending it to other people
The rotisserie chicken with the gravy - delicious but the Mac n cheese is a 100/10, unreal. Biscoff cheesecake could have fed an army and it would be the happiest army ever. Service was as stunning as ever, Julie was an absolute superstar ! Thanks for a lovely evening 🥰
Spacious but feels cozy Italian diner. Staff were nice and food was ok.
We've dined here a few times over the years and have never been particularly impressed, but we decided to give it another try for lunch and actually had a really nice meal. The prawn bruschetta was really tasty (although quite small!) and the Calzone was excellent. We'll definitely return.
