Impromptu Thursday evening dinner. While there were a good few diners in we were still greeted well and offered a table.
The manager was lovely & chatty and the young waiter had been in employment with them 8 years so clearly a lad who liked his job which was nice to know.

The decor is wonderful even from the entrance- very opulent.
The menu was very accommodating- lots of veggie, meat & fish options and a comprehensive drinks menu to accompany.
We chose the courgette & feta fritters and halloumi salad with the Mixed grill, tempura vegetables and creamed chilli spinach to follow.
Service was attentive enough without being too much and the food service time was average- we probably waited a little longer than I expected for our main but it was a mixed grill all cooked to order!
The starters were lovely, nice accompanying dressing on the halloumi and tasty fritters.
All the meat on the mixed grill was cooked well, very tasty. The cous cous on the platter was a little dry but mixed with the sauces provided it helped. I would have liked another bit of bread- everything came in a 2 except the bread!
The tempura veg was so delicious. The chilli creamed spinach was a let down- luke warm and more sauce than spinach which is a shame as the bit that we got was nice.
Overall we enjoyed our visit.
Lovely relaxed atmosphere in high end decor.
I can see this place becoming a real gem for Garforth.
£61 for 2 starters, mixed grill + 2 sides, a beer and a bottle of water I think was more than reasonable.
There are private dining areas for large parties which is a good idea.
Looking forward to going back again and sampling some of the cocktails in the gorgeous looking bar area.

Amazing food and service from the second you walk in. We were greeted on arrival with someone taking our coats and taking us straight to our table. Really impressed with the atmosphere and decoration of the inside. Little finishes in the loos with high quality hand wash/cream is also a nice luxury touch.

The food was big portions for both me and my husband (starters & mains) so not sure why other reviews have stated this as it was the complete opposite! You could tell high quality ingredients have been used in the meals, as everything was so tasty, and to see the chefs cooking on the huge grills from your table, made it even more impressive.

Service was quick but not rushed and it really felt like a "finer" dining place rather than your average restaurant in Garforth and somewhere perfect for a special occasion or a date night.

Overall a fantastic experience and can't wait to return!

Hey, we had an amazing time at that new restaurant we went to. The food was incredible, the service was on point, and our waitress was super friendly. Everything was cooked fresh and tasted delicious. It was totally worth the price. We'll definitely be going back!

It's banging. I reckon they've addressed some of the concerns of the early reviews well. You'll see that most recent reviews are 5 star. Portions were great, and I am a hungry man. They have their own dry ager for steak and 5 beers on tap, surely you can't say fairer than that?

Mixed grill was an absolute delight and for the superior quality, it was great value for money too. Service and atmosphere were lovely. A much needed gem for Garforth.

First time eating here, food was exceptional, decor was brilliant and the staff couldn't have been better.

Izgara has to be one of the best looking restaurants in Yorkshire. Really well designed, spacious and smart. Thoroughly clean throughout, the decor was fantastic too.

Food - amazing flavours, great portions and very good quality ingredients. Some of the best lamb chops I've had in a long time.
