Lovely venue, perfect for the wedding, staff were great, food was excellent!

Our wedding reception at Cleve Lodge was absolutely amazing from beginning to end. The staff are lovely and attentive, the food was so good we had people complimenting it, and the building itself is perfect for such an event. Huge function room, good sized bar, plenty of parking. Highly recommended.

Where do I start? I stumbled across Cleve Lodge because our original venue had gone bust. I was a bit worried as there doesn’t seem to be many reviews online BUT Ineed not fear. When we arrived to ook around the lodge itself is quite a unique building, it doesn’t have fancy grounds but we were acutely aware that pretty grounds are not the be all and end all after all you spend most of your time sat eating or dancing right? Joanna was lovely an absolute joy to work with, she tailored the menu to exactly what we wanted and did so at a snippet of the price other places wanted to charge. She was accommodating with every need and allowed us to have the day we expected with no fuss. The food was delicious, we had afternoon tea instead of a wedding breakfast and in the evening currys with all the sides! The venue did get quite warm in the evening so a few guests went to cool off outside. The bar was well stocked and managed. The toilets clean. The venue looked beautiful. Thank you for helping us with our dream day!

A nice, clean place to have a function. The buffet was very good, hot food was hot, and sandwiches were fresh and tasty. The prices for drinks were also very reasonable, £4 a pint or £4.50 for some of the bottled beers. As a guest at a wedding, I had no complaints at all, and I understand the bride and groom were very happy too. Recommended.

Good secure carpar, easy wheelchair access throughout. Lift to first floor. Great catering.
