I hadn't heard of this company before, but I was very pleased to find them today, looking for hip tiles and none of the big companies could help, nothing in stock and very expensive delivery in 3 days. Enter John James and they had the exact tiles I was looking for in the yard. Their delivery fee was also half the price of the big companies had I needed it. They cheerfully loaded the tiles onto my van without being asked, nothing was too much trouble for them. Kind, helpful, very reasonable prices. Five stars.

Good place to go if you need roof tiles. This place have all shapes and models of tiles it's like the graveyard of tiles in a nice way. We managed to get exactly what we need it. Spot on and good price also. 👍

Great friendly helpful service. The squirrels in my garden chew the green pine cones which break my roof tiles when they fall. So I need about 10 or 20 used tiles every year to replace broken ones. JJ Roofing has an extensive range or used tiles. The staff help you find the correct tile. It’s a lovely location down a scenic country road. So a cheap, recycling , good for the environment DIY repair.

Harvey and his team were very professional, hard working, and polite. They were asked to remove a boiler stack and make good the roof. This they did with minimal fuss. After the job was done they cleared up any mess and carried away all the bricks, etc. I was particularly impressed by the respect shown towards us, and our property. Contacted Harvey when we knew mum’s roof was falling apart and from the first contact he couldn’t have been more helpful. Even before the job started he visited a number of times to keep a cover on the roof where the old roof was leaking. During this summer and all the rain Harvey has managed to keep the job going . Throughout the preparation , the actual roof work and the clear up , Harvey has kept me fully informed by video, messaging and walk abouts on site. Our conservatory was cold, damp and a useless space in the winter. The conservatory has now been transformed into a useable , warm and light space. Far cheaper than an extension, but has the same effect, it is now a fully useable room. Highly recommend this company, very professional and trustworthy. They are very different to the other companies that deal with conservatory roofs. There is no hard sell, the quote is what it will cost, no extortionate prices that magically get reduced like other companies in this field. Damien came and gave a quote. Some weeks later I agreed to go ahead and was booked in. He kept in touch with the estimated date for works. Had the conservatory roof replaced, internal ceiling plastered. Additionally a stud wall built and the dwarf walls plastered. All the guys were friendly and tidy and kept me informed as the job progressed. I’ve waited several months to post this to ensure there weren’t any teething issues and I’ve had no concerns at all. Very pleased would certainly recommend.

We hired Luna Roofing to repair the chimney on a bungalow we have recently purchased. Dean communicated quickly and clearly from beginning to end. He clearly laid out the work that would be done. On the day of repairing our chimney, he sent us videos showing the chimney before the work, clearly explaining why the work was needed. Then he sent videos showing the completed work. When the work had to be delayed due to the weather, we were given advance warning as well as a new date. I was very impressed by Dean's proactive communication and the quality of the work.

We are absolutely delighted with the professionalism and quality of workmanship provided by Luna Roofing. Dean fully involved us in the whole roof repair process. From the initial identification of the problem right through to the completion of the work, Dean kept us informed and remedied the issue swiftly.

After some damage caused by solar panel installers our roof began to leak quite significantly. Following a recommendation, we contacted Dean and I'm so grateful to him for making everything so painless. Dean is an excellent project manager, planning for the scaffolding to go up only a day before work commenced, which included getting in electricians to disconnect the solar panels just hours before the roofers set to work replacing all wooden supports and refelting on one side of the roof. Following Day 1, Dean sent through a video showing the work that had been completed but also pointing out additional work to the led flashing (which had recently been carried out by another 3rd party provided by the solar panel people) that needed to be redone. Within 12 hours, we had the costs for additional work which was carried out the next day and another video sent to clearly explain everything that had been completed. As soon as the remaining invoice was paid the scaffolding came down the next day. It was an absolute pleasure having Dean and the team here who were respectful of our property and reassuring all the way through.

I highly recommend Scott Miles roofing Ltd. From the outset Scott was very easy to work with. A group of professional roof specialists, who poured their all into bringing our roof up to an exceptional standard. We’ve noticed the difference in the warmth on our property, due to some new soffits, insulation, cementing of apex tiles, new grade 4 lead on chimneys, apex joins from different height roofs, bay window roofs, flashings, gutters and downpipes that work! Scott brought samples of suitable tiles, rainwater furniture options and posed other roofing options as well as submitted 3 estimates for 1) essential repair, 2) partial replacement and 3) complete replacement. Nothing was too much trouble, he kept me involved in decision making as the job progressed. Scott and the team were professional at all times, fitting around other trades or jobs that needed access, often arranging to return to finish after other trades had completed their works. We did go over the estimate for maintenance and upgrading of lead work and full replacement in certain compromised areas of rotten woodwork, but that was down to our choice and after full discussion exploring alternative options and additional costs, we made the decision to not skimp. Their scaffolder of choice was also accommodating to our extended needs. They are a hard working bunch of really lovely skilled workers. The lead work carried out by Reeve is close on an artisan finish and quality. Our surveyor put them as highly commended. The Roofing, which I thought would be our biggest concern and stress point on our major property refurb, turned out to be seamless and stress free.
