First time I have been to this lovely restaurant. I absolutely highly recommend it! The food was so delicious and the staff were very friendly and accommodating to my dietary needs and how I like my food prepared. The young man at the desk had a friendly and helpful nature and I met the chef, who also was friendly with a smile!

Amazing food, so lovely to have so many choices. The food was cooked fresh to order and the curries each had their distinctive flavours as described on the menu. The staff were very attentive and friendly.

The food here is amazing! I've been coming here for a while and I feel like it's an undiscovered gem of kings heath. One of the best meals I've eaten in Birmingham and I would highly recommend it to everyone. Usually l am a firm meat eater however I don't miss the meat here at all as the flavors and options are astounding.

Tucked away unassumingly on Stirchley high street is one of, if not the, most talked about restaurants in Brum currently. From being mentioned in the Michelin Guide of Best Restaurants in Birmingham, to a buzz across social media; there’s a deserved hype. I have such a great time visiting here that I can’t wait to book my next visit. True that it’s easier to herd cats than to book a table here, but it’s worth being patient. Tables are released on a rolling three month basis each day, at midnight. With a cosy kitchen vibe, you sit at the counter and watch each dish unfold as it’s carefully crafted and presented in front of you, while the chef, Ash, talks you through how and why it’s on the menu. This close up and personal insight combined with watching the other guests enjoy their dishes is hard to match. You can easily get talking to the people either side of you, with them often remarking how they can’t wait to book their next visit. The menu pretty much changes daily so I won’t describe what I had, I’ll let my photos do that; but I can confidently say I struggled to make my choices because it all sounded so good.

Absolutely exceptional food and service by Ash and Erin. Impossible to pick a favourite dish as everything was exceptional but some of our favourites were the BBQ leeks with Hollandaise, crab hash brown, rarebit crumpet and the raw beef tartare. Couldn't recommend this place enough.

A true hidden gem. My partner and I visited Rabbit and can say confidently that our experience was outstanding. Erin swiftly showed us to our seats and gave us a complimentary herbal tea which was full of flavour and depth. From our initial brief interaction, I knew we were safe hands. Throughout the evening she chatted and exchanges jokes with all the guests, which made the occasion extra special, and feeling that you have made a friend by the end of your night. Ourselves and the other guests for the evening were sat across the counter where all plates are prepared in front of you by Chef Ash, extraordinaire. Each plate was clearly lovingly crafted, with plenty of attention to detail. Chef Ash explained in great depth the ingredients used, the processes taken, and the desired vision for each dish we ordered. Her pride and confidence in her cooking is very evident, and thoroughly deserved. This is best evidenced when she offered us a complementary dish simply because she saw our reaction to similar items that we’d ordered. My opinion is that the quality of flavours are remarkably close to those I’ve had at Michelin star restaurants, and I wouldn’t be surprised to see Rabbit join that exclusive list. As others have mentioned, the most difficult part is getting a reservation as the list is quite long, but truly, truly is worth the wait. I will certainly be visiting again! (The only point of feedback I have is the stools can become slightly uncomfortable over time, but this is a minor point).

Fantastic place. Looking forward to trying out more of the menu. As they make most of the menu from fresh and season it all extremely well. The food always tastes amazing. Excellent ingredients, excellent people that run the place. 10000% worth a visit if you're vegan, even if it is a little out of your way. Parking right outside.

Really delicious and well thought out menu. Owner/chef friendly and really helpful with questions. Best coffee I've had in the UK so far. Very cute decor. Great place for a quick bite to eat or a date night in the evening. (Pictured is kids meal) ours we so good we ate it too fast to take a photo.

This is the best vegan place in birmingham. The breakfast is fantastic. We love the toast and the burger. It is a very cozy place and food with lots of love. Not commercialize but one will feel like at home. Such a wonderful place to hang out with family and friends with lovely and delicious vegan food. Please do not forget to try their cakes too.

Love the oyster mushroom wings and had some amazing vegan cakes here. They sell various vegan sweets too at the counter, like Vego chocolate which is easily the best vegan chocolate and one of the best hazelnutty chocolates in general, like a giant bar of gianduja with whole hazelnuts.

Such a great new place in Kings Heath!! We love Middle Eastern, Lebanese, Persian style food and this place really hit the mark. Welcoming restaurant, service spot on and food amazing. Freshly cooked, clean tasting and flavoursome, all the meat dishes cooked perfectly, lamb falling off the bone, chicken super tender. Subtle flavours, plenty of it and really obviously cooked with care and attention. Very reasonably priced. We will definitely be going back - we all picked different things and tried each others, now we need to return to pick 5 different things!!! Really worth a visit!

Exceptional food - generous portions, exciting Egyptian street food and beautifully presented. Great veggie options and fun for sharing. Really friendly motivated staff. Lovely relaxed but special atmosphere. Highly recommend to all as a solo diner or to large groups.

The service was amazing. The resurant was Clean, organised, and lovely Egyptian decoration as well. Fabulous experience well do it again, especially the decoration and the atmosphere I felt like I am in Egypt😍😍

Love this place. Been several times since opening and the staff are always very friendly and helpful and now welcome us like long lost friends! Love the orange and black decor too. Food is great and a good range and they will always do their very best to accommodate particualr preferences which may vary from the menu - such as making it milder or hotter.

Had nice Soya Pathia curry with a chilli Coriander Naan takeaway. Very tasty. Unfortunately the Chips where fries which personally not so keen on. They where Very kind and gave me 3 free Onion Bhaji's plus a free coffee ☕️ 😋 Attractive and clean interior with some interesting old pictures of local areas. Friendly staff. I'm hoping to have meal inside sometime during Christmas. Street parking available.

Had a party of 27 people last Sunday! The hospitality was awesome. The food hit our taste buds on a different level. I highly recommend this place for any occasion. Kam was great and the staff are very friendly. This kind of service you wont get these days! Thank you guys!

Lovely furnished restaurant off Kings Heath high street. Very warm friendly welcome on arrival too. Lovely menu options and good explanation of menu specialities too. Food arrived nice and hot and portion sizes were quite large too at a reasonable price. This restaurant is in its early weeks and I can see it’s gonna do well with the quality on offer.

This is such a cute homely little cafe! The atmosphere was super relaxed and the food was great - really really recommend the dumplings.

I’ve wanted to go ever since it opened, sorry I waited so long! They talked us through the menu explaining what was in each dish and recommended how much to order. Lovely intimate restaurant with great food cooked to order by a friendly chef. The food & drink menus are limited (this is not a criticism) but all our choices were tasty & worked well together. We’ll be back!

Excellent restaurant! Has won handful of awards and the chef is michelin starred, which increased our expectations.Amazingly met, the beef and chicken was tender, sea bream ceviche was so fresh, and the crab starter was so creamy! The quality of the ingredients were phenomenal, portions are generous too!! Even the starter ceviche I had a lot of the fish 😹 Erica is excellent in her service, we had a brief chat and she originally hails from Mexico. She was very knowledgeable about the dishes & was so friendly! Thank you!

Beautiful restaurant in an old bank with luxurious feel. Great attention to detail and service from the whole team from the moment you step in the door. Amazing cocktails that are reasonable price for the creativity and quality. Great dishes with lots of flavour, colour and textures. Hope to be back for the tasting menu!

The tasting menu was spectacular, accompanied by a pisco flight and a bottle of Peruvian white wine. Each course was a delight, so many of them new flavours to us. Any "foodie" should visit this restaurant and we'll definitely return.

The food is absolutely amazing!! I cannot recommend Chakana enough, I have been around 6 times or more now. Always fantastic, every time, and the menu is so interesting and it changes too!

Finally, a high-quality chippy that truly values its customers, product, and service! I believe this location is run by the same owners as the Erdington branch—thankfully, it’s nothing like the Sparkhill branch, which is a disappointment to the brand. Despite being extremely busy over the weekend, the food was exceptional and perfectly prepared, especially the Fiery Fish. This is a top-tier chip shop operating at its best—definitely worth a visit. Keep up the great work, and I’ll be back again and again!

Fantastic New Addition to Kings Heath! Mother Hubbard’s Fish & Chips has just opened in Kings Heath, and it’s already a huge hit! Despite being extremely busy, the staff handle everything with efficiency and a smile. The customer service is outstanding—friendly, welcoming, and attentive. The food is top-quality, with perfectly crispy batter and fresh, delicious chips. It’s great to see such a well-loved brand bringing their famous fish and chips to the area. Highly recommend giving them a try—you won’t be disappointed!

Grace and James hosted a group of us for a Hen Do Cheese & Wine Tasting and the whole day was brilliant. They made such an effort to tailor the day to our needs and offered a beautiful space for us to decorate! It was an all round a perfect day - thank you so much!

Best Sunday roast we’ve ever had (not at home) outstanding beef, crispiest roasties and delicious veggie option. Easily best roast dinner in kings heath. Unfortunately only got pic of our starters as was too keen to tuck into mains!

Honestly 5 stars isn’t enough for this place! We’re moving home to Australia in August and Grace and James, Flock and York road in general are going to one of the things we miss the most! Lewis, Wilf, Henry and Alasdair are top notch and know what they’re talking about and make you feel welcome from the second you walk in. Their hospitality, knowledge and passion for what they do is impeccable. They’re a local independent that is passionate about their community and with a small team, always delivers. Especially when the sun comes out. Great selection of wines, the yummiest cheeses and the best coffee in Brum!! And nothing beats York road in the sunshine! ☀️

We first experienced Grace and James at Queens Heath event. The Inside had a few tables but was very light and bright. There's a large cheese and wine selection. Plus a fridge of ales to choose from. They also sell their bottles of wine to take home. We will certainly be back for more wine and cheese!

Friendly service and felt safe with Covid spacing measures. Food was excellent... I am still not over just how good the chicken livers in sherry & cream were! Order a couple of flatbreads and dips then maybe five tapas between two and you’ll have room for dessert! Such tasty food, will need to go back to try more of the menu!

Food was as excellent as ever, good size tapas portions, great choice and flavours, reasonably priced. Service was friendly but slow on this occasion - have had much better service here in the past. But it would not stop me going back to this lovely little independent restaurant.
