Based on previous reviews we chose Bal to quote for some work on our porch that required attention. The whole process was really slick, from the first visit to discuss the scope of works through to the job itself. We can't recommend Bal enough..... we're already compiling a list of jobs we need him to do and will be hiring him again in the very near future. Don't hesitate give him a call :-)

Bal has been absolutely fantastic in dealing with several jobs around our house. Jobs included new ceiling in porch with light, putting up 2 new ceilings, new flat roof and some new lights, fixing and connecting a new dishwasher, fixing a sticky lounge door amongst others and all at a reasonable price. He is very honest, reliable and left each job clean and spotless. I would have no hesitation in recommending Bal to my friends and family. I only wish I had made contact with him sooner. You will not be disappointed.

Had TA Smith Builders over today, and I couldn’t be more impressed. From start to finish, their professionalism and attention to detail were outstanding. They installed a lintel above the door and a baton in the kitchen window, and the workmanship was top-notch. You can really tell these guys take pride in what they do—everything was done cleanly, efficiently, and to a high standard. They were also punctual, friendly, and left everything tidy, which is always appreciated. Highly recommend TA Smith Builders for their excellent service. Very happy with the work!

I can highly reccomend this building firm as they have just installed double glazing doors in my property . They were very punctual, professional and cleaned up after they had finished the job . Craig carried out some interior decoration & painting jobs and put up shelves in my mum's house. I found him to be reliable and trustworthy. He always turned up when he said he would and worked hard. Called Craig to remove an old dated carport, he didn’t hesitate to take the job on, came round, gave me a really good competitive price. Arranged to suit my availability. Contacted P and C and spoke to Craig. I had a minor emergency plumbing job and although he was snowed under with work and had a weekend away planned he managed to fit me in at short notice. I am absolutely delighted with the service he provided and a good quality job was done. Overall I am really pleased and would definitely use him again and I would highly recommend. Michael and his team did a fabulous job renovating our kitchen and dining area creating a large kitchen diner, including new french door, veluxes, replacement windows and internal doors plus new boiler and radiator with all the electrical, plumbing, plastering and decorating work completed to an extremely high standard. Michael and his team are hugely skilled, friendly, helpful, reliable, punctual, and hard working. We highly recommend 😊 and would use again.

We had a pretty big job done on our house in December: chimney removal across three floors, new loft insulation, upgraded windows, plus a whole load of electrical work (extract fans, new lighting, the works). On top of that, every spot where the chimney came out—and most of our downstairs and upstairs ceilings—got replastered. The team showed up every Monday to Friday, worked right up until December 23rd, then came back on January 6th without missing a beat. We really appreciated them sticking to such a tight schedule and getting it all done so quickly. They were also great about handling the building regulations for us—sorted out the certificates and everything, which was a huge help. Michael, who led the team, even kept his scaffolding up longer so our separate solar panel company could use it, saving us some money in the process. Whenever we decided to add extra work, Michael was super clear on the costs and never pushy about it, which was really refreshing. And a special shout-out goes to Scott, the absolute legend who worked like a machine day in and day out. He really went above and beyond to make sure everything turned out perfectly. We’re over the moon with how it all looks now, and we couldn’t have asked for a friendlier or more dedicated team. Any of our work in the future will 100 percent be done by them... 5 stars no question!!

Mick and his team did an excellent job on my kitchen refurbishment. It was a major piece of work - stripping the whole room, bricking up an external door, removing gas pipes, rewiring, plumbing, installing new internal doors/cupboards/appliances, decorating. Mick co-ordinated everything, firstly finding a designer and then arranging for plasterer, plumber, electrician, carpenter to be there on the required day so I didn't have to worry about anything. The work was done to the highest standard, completed on schedule and within budget. If you're in south Birmingham and need any building work, big or small, then Michael Laffoley Ltd is the only sensible choice.

Delighted with the skilled and professional job Mick and his team did updating our kitchen and extending the dining area. This was a timber build using sustainable materials and is exactly how we wanted it to be. The work was completed to a high standard with a great finish. Garry was recommended to me to fit an outside tap. Since then he has completed lots of jobs for us including cleaning and re sanding/sealing the block paved drive, fitting a handrail, rotary washing line, a key safe and other jobs. Garry is reliable, friendly, turns up on time and works non stop often spotting and completing other jobs too (such as clearing the guttering) He always leaves everything tidy and nothing is too much trouble, rates are also very reasonable yet high quality materials and work. I have already recommended him to friends who have also been impressed with the work carried out. We have already agreed on more jobs and will be booking Garry again in the future.

I have been using APM services for jobs at home, all were carried out professionally and efficiently. Recently there were a lot of plumbing issues at another place, and I called in APM; they diagnosed, fixed and repaired all the taps and sorted the hot water issues.
