Our first visit after the new management have taken over. We had Sunday lunch and it was extremely well cooked and great portion size. Great friendly service, thanks Sam. Make sure to book in advance is extremely popular and long may it last..

We had a lovely Sunday lunch on 5th June to celebrate mum-in-law's 88th birthday. The food, environment and service were excellent. Only two small dampeners: this pub had no Sherry (!), her favourite tipple; the wheelchair ramp was very short and steep. Stock up with Harvey's Bristol Cream ... and we'll be back.

Perfect Sunday lunch. The service is warm and welcoming, the food exceptional. We are so pleased to have this pub on our doorstep.

Popped in this afternoon for an impromptu lunch with our muddy spaniel after a walk and could not have been made more welcome. Food was delicious and served with a smile, best seat in the pub next to a roaring fire and chatted to the new owner who was also a dog lover. We will certainly be back to sample some more of the menu.
