REALLY delicious pizza, served with a smile. We had Pizza di aga (probably the best pizza I've eaten outside of Italy) and a calzone, also scrumptious. Don't miss the chilli and garlic breads too!! Yum. Will come back next time in the area :)

I have to say, wow just wow. My daughter who is 7 years old, really wanted some pasta and was fed up with Harvester, Pizza Express and Toby Carvery. So I looked for an Italian and Mani's popped up and had great reviews. Mani, was so polite, friendly and helpful. As my daughter is fussy and likes her pasta a certain way, he knocked up a dish of spaghetti bolognese, that she absolutely loved. I can vouch for it too, as the portion was large, so I finished it off. We are going there next week, at my daughter's request! I highly recommend trying this delightful and delicious authentic Italian for a takeaway.

Came here for brunch as I live nearby and wanted to try the new restaurant. Firstly the place is really nicely decorated, both inside and outside the atmosphere is lovely. The staff are very nice and friendly and the food was delicious. When I visited it did seem they may have been a man down as the 1 server seemed overwhelmed and was a little slow but not of his own fault, maybe just needed some help. On my visit we unfortunately did wait just shy of an hour for our food, people who arrived after us had their food paid and left before we received our food (for context we have no dietary requirements and didn’t ask for anything off menu) after about 35 mins of waiting however the server did come over and apologised for the wait, there was a printer error and we got unlucky and our order did not get through to the kitchen, he apologised and offered some additional coffees free of charge. As much as an hour is a very long time to wait for brunch accidents do happen and I was pleased with how they handled it so I would definitely return!

The food is lovely, really delicious and well seasoned. The wait staff are all lovely. The only very minor issue with our meal was that it seemed quite loud in the restaurant so difficult to speak but it was very busy. Regardless I would certainly recommend this place.

I had a wonderful dinner with my wife that truly delighted our taste buds! The food was absolutely exquisite, and we couldn't get enough of it. The staff went above and beyond to make our experience memorable, showing kindness and professionalism that made us feel right at home.

This restaurant is very busy. Had to make a reservation and the only time they could fit 13 of us in was at 6pm and we were told me had to give the table back by 7:30pm. This was fine, as long as all of us knew what we wanted to eat quite quickly and the food was quick enough. We did manage to eat within that time frame. The waiter that served us was quick and efficient. He took our orders and didn’t get anything wrong. Remembered who ordered what drinks and food, even though we were a large table. Didn’t seem impatient with us. Food came quickly. However, portions were smaller than expected. One of us ordered a chicken shish with chips. There was only one skewer of chicken pieces which was quite little for the price, especially if you compare with some of the other dishes like the lamb chops. Lamb chops were nice and tasty. Chips were good. Rice was good. Salad was also tasty. Hummus was a good flavour and good portion, not grainy, and the bread that came with the hummus was warm and good texture, soft on the inside.

Went with friends as we have been wanting to go here for quite a while, having heard great things about the restaurant. Our group have a few dietary restrictions - gluten free, vegetarian, lactose intolerant and there were dishes to cater to all of us and we definitely left stuffed! The staff were friendly and accomodating, service as quick (this was a Saturday night), the restaurant is small so there is a lovely, cosy atmosphere and yet there is still plenty of space to sit - no cramped tables here. The food was delicious, we will definitely return and happily recommend to others.

Excellent Southern Indian restaurant. Very high quality food, the menu is well priced for the quality and quantity. Great friendly service & helpful staff to answer any questions if you are confused about what to order. Great location in Hemal Hempstead Old Town with convenient parking, chargeable between 08:00-16:00. Will definitely visit again!

We had SUCH an amazing meal here for mine and my father’s birthday! Amith was very lovely and sang happy birthday very well, and the other people working here were lovely. But more importantly the food was AMAZING! They are generous with their prawns, the food is fresh, the menu is rich (and not very expensive)! We will be back, thank you very much!! :)

Accidentally ended up here as we were visiting harry potter studio. Authentic kerala preparation, especially was impressed with fresh king fish curry and prawn curry.. porotta, chicken curry and beef roast were also tasty

First time here and Thoroughly enjoyed it. Not your typical India restaurant. Definitely bought the Southern influence to the table. An extensive menu. Great service and very reasonable priced. Highly recommend

Called here for lunch. The food was lovely. Service was great and very friendly. We sat outside to eat. It was quite busy. My only negative comment is that the toilet facilities are very small and queueing is necessary. Facilities are well stocked and clean.

This is my favourite place for lunch. The main reason is its quick service and the food quality. The waitresses are very polite and professional.

An absolutely charming little place that I found on my way back from Boxmoor. The decoration is absolutely amazing and it sets an amazing peaceful atmosphere, I was sat on this lovey little table by a window. It was just myself and yet they sat me with no issues and treated me no different to the table of four that was seated nearby me. The service was absolutely lovely, charming waitresses who were just so sweet. They provided a wonderful service which made me feel extremely welcomed and at ease. One of the waitresses even stopped to have a small conversation with me! The food was fantastic too! And the smoothie is something I recommend! I had the passion fruit smoothie and the smokey panini (ham and cheese) and it made for just a fantastic little treat. Honestly couldn't be more thankful, this place took the edge off a bad week. Will definitely be returning and will be recommending this place to others!!

But what truly stood out was the kindness and attentiveness of the staff. Our server was friendly, knowledgeable, and went above and beyond to ensure we felt welcome and comfortable. Really fantastic food. If you like apple juice, order a glass. It’s freshly squeezed and comes with a wonderful apple froth on the top I ended up having to they were so good. I had a Darcy‘s breakfast, which was really nice. Possibly could’ve had a little more scrambled egg.

Darcy's...Great food great service everything was perfect. Myself and my wife chose to eat off the Tapas menu and it was gorgeous, My desert was lovely and my Strawberry Pina colada was perfect. I don’t even know where to start! The food was delicious. We had 3 courses and both loved everything. My one year old ate more of his dinner than usual too! I had the popcorn chicken & lamb cutlets - well seasoned and tasted fresh as well as being very nicely presented (as pictured). I had apple strudel for dessert and loved that also. The restaurant itself is very pretty and clean, we sat outside and the view was lovely and the outdoor heaters meant we weren’t too cold. Richard was our host and he was amazing - attentive, friendly and welcoming. He brought a blanket out for my little one which I thought was so sweet. I’m really glad I came across this place today, I’d never heard of it before but they have definitely gained a new frequent customer. I will absolutely be trying the brunch next.

We were greeted straight away, talked through the menu and given recommendations. Service was great, staff were lively, we were served by Andrea and another female server we didn’t get the name of but they were both wonderful. All the food was great! A really great buffet and the BBQ meats were amazing, really impressed with everything. Desserts were hard to choose so got a few to share, they didn’t disappoint. It does says on the website but if you get the full buffet and bbq meats you can’t take any home. We took the rest of our desserts home but there is a small £1 feet for the takeaway box which was reasonable. Overall everything was great and we can’t wait to come back!

I’ve been several times and the food can not be beat. The meats are PERFECTLY cooked and seasoned. Our server I think Cristina was very pleasant and accommodating, the gentlemen who brought the food out had a great attitude and served us plenty and quickly.

Went to this restaurant with a few friends, and it was such an amazing experience. From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed with warm, friendly service that immediately set the tone for a fantastic evening. The staff are amazing!!!!!!!!! The atmosphere was vibrant yet cozy, with beautiful Brazilian decor that made it feel like a little escape. The food was absolutely incredible. The waiters bring skewers of various meats to the table, slicing them right onto your plate. The flavors were out of this world—each piece was tender and seasoned perfectly. What made the experience even better was the lively energy of the restaurant. There was a great mix of upbeat music, and everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves, which added to the fun of the evening. We all left with full stomachs, happy smiles, and the sense that we'd definitely be coming back again. We are down visiting from York for the weekend and researched local restaurants to eat with our young children. Well let me tell you that not one element of our experience at OPUZ was anything short of 5 stars. In fact if you could give more, I would. Booked in advance, was seated straight away and handed our menus. We were not pestered before being ready to order. The food we ordered was absolutely fantastic and the presentation was great too. The dry ice gimmick when ordering cocktails is also a big plus, not something you see everyday and the kids loved it. If we ever come down again we will be sure to visit again. Well done to all the staff at OPUZ, the front of house, the waiters and waitresses, the kitchen staff and the bar staff should all be aware that they are knocking out a top top quality experience. Will definitely be returning! Small delay on seating which was rectified by the amazing food and service. The atmosphere was amazing and drinks served with an experience of dry ice. During our quick two-day London trip with friends, we stumbled upon this charming breakfast spot—and it totally wowed us! 😍 The food was not only a feast for the eyes but also absolutely delicious, making every bite a delight. Today, we went to have breakfast, but we didn't expect a high level of quality food and services. We got a Cappuccino, Hot chocolate, and Milk sake, plus full English and an American breakfast. It was simply delicious; the service was good, and we didn't wait long for our food. Everything was Wonderful.

I took my mum here for lunch today and it was amazing! We were greeted at the door, the menu is fantastic! I had the Meaty Club Sandwich and it's honestly the best sandwich I've ever had!
