Amazing food, every-time. Some of the best curries I have eaten and that includes some of the top rated ones in London. Abdul is a wonderful host and an even better chef! Would highly recommend.

Had a meal in at Sona with my wife and 2 year old and we all had a fantastic meal. The food was top class and looked wonderful as you can see in the picture. The curry dishes were flavourful and spicy which we like and my little boy really enjoyed the potatoes. The restaurant is small but this adds to the atmosphere as the design is so contemporary and sleek. It feels less like a traditional curry house and more like a high end London restaurant but with fair and reasonable prices. Can't wait to eat there again!

They began by asking if we had any food allergies, a thoughtful touch that immediately set a positive tone for our dining experience. The menu was impressive, with various meat, fish, veggie and vegan dishes to cater to our diverse dietary preferences. I appreciate that the staff were accommodating when we requested to have all our dishes served together, a gesture they willingly did without hesitation, given that we ordered our main and starters. This attention to detail was truly appreciated. What made SONA stand out was its modern and innovative twist on traditional Indian food. The menu featured unique items such as the Naga Naan, which quickly became a family favourite, which my parents have to order with their SONA order every week. Another standout was the SONA Naan, a gently spicy naan with honey that offered a delightful blend of flavours that surprised and pleased our taste buds. We appreciated the restaurant's commitment to providing something different and exciting. Although we were eager to capture photos of our delicious meals, the temptation to dig in was too strong, and we couldn't resist indulging in the food immediately. Among the dishes we sampled, the Fiery King Prawns left a lasting impression. They struck the perfect balance between sweet and spicy, a testament to their exceptional flavour. The Kolkata Wings, a delightful fusion of mango and spice, were heavenly. They disappeared from our plates so quickly that we ordered another portion without hesitation. The Chicken Tikka was another standout, exuding freshness and authenticity. I also had the opportunity to taste a bit of the Sikander Lamb, ordered by my sister, which was both flavourful and tender.
