I am so grateful for Emma’s help in achieving the top grades for my English GCSEs. She tailored her lessons to target my weaknesses and the resources she gave helped improve my exam techniques. I’ve had many English tutors throughout my GCSE studies but Emma has by far been the best one, she has helped me increase my grades in English by an incredible 5 grades in the short time she taught me (from my year 10 mock to my actual GCSE’s!). Teachers that were chosen to teach me the subjects were very kind and explained to me everything that i needed to know in detail even when i had problems with understanding. Without Emma, I could never have achieved a grade 9 in both English literature and language. Before starting my tutoring, my grades were at 6’s and 7’s and I didn’t know what I could do better to improve them. But once Emma started tutoring me, I began to discover my strengths and weaknesses. She increased my confidence and is incredibly supportive and kind.
