All three of my children have taken maths, at Kumon in Guildford. We started for various reasons and have ended at different times. My last child has now been doing it for three years now and is two years ahead of where she should be. This was evident in home schooling in lockdown when we were completing year eight maths and she is in year six. Kumon has continued through lockdown with zoom lessons. I could book an individual lesson if stuck and could contact through Whats app and text. Work was easy to exchange with little notes of encouragement. My daughter is determined to finish the program. Ultimately she says she wants to take maths and further maths at A level. Even if this isn't your aim, Kumon will give you a great understanding of maths. Enrolling your child in Kumon is an excellent way to create discipline and interest in reading and maths. My child was in a different Kumon center prior to us moving to this location, and we have to say its been a fantastic experience here. Students Intuition have been so friendly and effiencent to work with. Although I have never had the need to meet any of the team I have spoken on the 'phone and had regular email contact. They are flexible, personable and I cannot fault their professionalism. My GCSE age daughter has used Math and English tutors through the company. We decided that one of the tutors wasn't working for us but we were fully supported by the company to change to someone else. Our Math tutor has been a complete saviour and cannot be rated highly enough. We wanted additional coaching for W so that he didn't get any surprises for a school entry assessment for Year 3. Amanda had researched the curriculum for his age thoroughly and had planned her sessions to cover all the key areas that W might be presented with. W really engaged with Amanda as she coaxed him gently into the session asking questions about his week and then applying a relevant point to the subject matter she wanted to cover. She gauged his attention span well, switching topics and momentum when he was beginning to tire of a particular area. I would definitely recommend Amanda again.

I can’t recommend Explore Learning more highly. My experience so far is of a place that builds confidence, offers tailored support in small groups, is flexible, understanding and nurturing. With regular progress meetings, and parent portals you can keep track of any areas which need more help, as well as access additional learning for home. The team are great and provide a safe and comfortable atmosphere. I’m incredibly grateful to them for the difference in confidence I am already seeing in my son.

I want to leave a review about the centre manager Siôn as he is very helpful and kind. He has helped me with my daughter's 11+ application and I couldn't be more thankful. Haleema, the 11+ the tutor is fantastic and has prepared my daughter very well. The assistant manager, Kim, is also very helpful. You should bring your children to this centre.

I started learning french with Heather as a beginner with very little knowlege and no confidence but with a desire to learn the language of the country that I love to visit. Right from the very first lesson I felt comfortable and at ease. Thanks to Heather and her teaching methods my confidence and knowledge has grown beyond my expectations. Heathers French courses are superb. She’s a fantastic French teacher. Her classes are conducted in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. I couldn’t recommend them more to anyone wanting to start learning or improve their French language ability!

Heather's lessons are interesting and extremely useful both for speaking and writing. During my lessons I felt really at ease thanks to Heather's patient and kind approach. The method is innovative and as the name of the classes says Fun! Of course if you are like me with a short memory you do have to study too to make the most of the lessons. It is so nice to be able to communicate in French during my short trips to France which hopefully will become more frequent.

My French has come on so much since joining these fun classes. Heather is really knowledgeable and is great at making grammar understandable! The focus is on conversational French. During lockdown Heather was amazing at starting up zoom classes to keep us on track. Saying that, it's nice to be back in the classroom. If you are considering learning French or improving your French I can't recommend this highly enough.

Both my kids started their tutoring with Siew. She is a brilliant tutor and really helped build their confidence and their ability to truly understand maths and how to apply it. My kids are going in Frimley Kumon for English and Maths sessions. I find it really helpful for my kids. The way of teaching is amazing. My kids improved a lot. As a parent, I struggled a lot with their studies but after sending them to Kumon now i can feel the difference. They benefited very well from Kumon’s way of teaching. Anjana is an excellent tutor. She is very understanding, patient and easy-going. My son does maths and English at the Kumon Frimley centre and I can happily say that he has massively improved in his maths and English. Not only this but he has also gained confidence and independence from Kumon. The tutors are amazing in terms of what they do, they help children of all ages who may need extra support.
