French for Fun is a very apt name for Heather's classes as they are fun, which makes learning so much easier. There is focus on grammar but in the context of conversations and plenty of opportunities to practise speaking. My understanding of French was reasonable before I started with Heather but my ability to converse was limited to say the least, but now I feel completely confident in having a go. Heather is such a positive teacher and encourages everyone, and I couldn't recommend her classes more highly - sign up and have fun!

I started learning french with Heather as a beginner with very little knowlege and no confidence but with a desire to learn the language of the country that I love to visit. Right from the very first lesson I felt comfortable and at ease. Thanks to Heather and her teaching methods my confidence and knowledge has grown beyond my expectations. The lessons are a fun way to learn the language. I can highly recommend Heathers classes.

Heathers French courses are superb. She’s a fantastic French teacher. Her classes are conducted in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. I couldn’t recommend them more to anyone wanting to start learning or improve their French language ability!

Heather's lessons are interesting and extremely useful both for speaking and writing. During my lessons I felt really at ease thanks to Heather's patient and kind approach. The method is innovative and as the name of the classes says Fun! Of course if you are like me with a short memory you do have to study too to make the most of the lessons. It is so nice to be able to communicate in French during my short trips to France which hopefully will become more frequent.

My French has come on so much since joining these fun classes. Heather is really knowledgeable and is great at making grammar understandable! The focus is on conversational French. During lockdown Heather was amazing at starting up zoom classes to keep us on track. Saying that, it's nice to be back in the classroom. If you are considering learning French or improving your French I can't recommend this highly enough.
