I am extremely grateful for the excellent work done by Richard. In the wake of disruptions caused by COVID, he identified the gaps in our daughter's education and provided targeted guidance. Thanks to his dedicated efforts, our daughter successfully passed her 11+. We couldn't be happier with the results and highly recommend his services.

Richard has been a fantastic tutor for my Daughter, who is shy, nervous and was very reluctant to go to a tutor! Richard was amazing at putting her at ease from the off, creating a positive learning environment, tailoring to her needs and making it fun. She originally saw him to give her confidence in her maths and English and then progressed to 11+ learning and she came on leaps and bounds. She looked forward to going every week! I wish he had been tutoring when my Son was doing his 11+ as we tried all the usual tutors in Ashford (large group sessions, using computers, 1:1) and none were as good. I’ll be brining my youngest to Richard in a couple of years. Thanks for everything!

Richard was great to speak too, gave brilliant feedback, and just helped my daughter take that extra step. He gave her confidence, and his message to her just resonated with her brilliantly. Whilst we didn't have regular tutoring, we gained valuable insight from the 11+ mocks and then a couple of 2 hrs intensive sessions the week before the Kent test.

My son finds school a little tricky but having a quieter, encouraging environment at RP Tutoring he really is improving. Richard provides regular and helpful feedback on my sons progress and focuses on areas he finds more difficult rather than all of the curriculum. This really is beneficial as it does not waste time on areas he is strong at.

Both my son and daughter have had tutoring with Richard and I can not recommend him highly enough. Not only is he extremely knowledgeable on the different areas of the curriculum and 11+ but he also has a way of making the children believe in themselves, giving them the confidence they need to succeed.
Richard treats each child as an individual, tailoring his sessions to what the child needs as opposed to a ‘one hat fits all’ approach. He also gives you detailed feedback on your child’s progress and provides valuable advice for moving your child forward.
Both my children enjoy going to Richard and do not see it as a chore.
