Nicola is an excellent tutor and we highly recommend. She successfully tutored our son to pass the 11+ exam. Our son enjoyed her sessions and looked forward to attending each week. The sessions were engaging and spot on in content and the exam preparation made sure our son felt calm and focused on the day. We will definitely use Nicola again for our second child.

Nicola at Forest 1st Tutoring managed to work wonders in getting our daughter up to speed in time for the 11+ exam. We left it very late in the day to start preparing and Nicola agreed to tutor across the summer term and summer holidays - primarily using group work with additional one-on-one sessions on top. The transformation in our daughter’s confidence and attainment was amazing. The tutoring would have been worthwhile regardless of the outcome as not only has she achieved a solid pass in the 11+, she has also been really well set up to make a happy and confident start to year 6.

I highly recommend Nicola and her team they're amazing! Nicola has a unique and impressive teaching style. This was excellent tutoring from a teacher who understands what is needed and how to help children achieve it. The best thing was that it was welcoming, encouraging and confidence building. Aaron and team are brilliant! So very good at knowing what makes our kids tick and helping them. Also very accommodating with us. Both our kids have noticed the advantage being tutored by Explore is giving them - particularly our son who is now having the GCSE Maths tuition and really enjoying being able to answer the trickier questions in class because he's already covered it in Explore. My son has been going to Whiteley Explore Learning for more than 2 years now and I could not speak more highly of it. A combination of SEND needs, unsuccessful home schooling during the pandemic and a need for my son to have more 121 support meant that I looked for private tutoring and was recommended Explore. At first my son was reluctant to attend, but now it's his special place and he's very happy to go. The staff are wonderful, incredibly supportive and adapt to his needs. If I find out my son is struggling with a topic at school, I let the team at Explore know and we work as a team to help improve his understanding of the topic, so that he grows in confidence and ultimately ability to tackle the topic. I particularly like the parents meetings, where I get more insight on my son's progress and abilities than I get at school's parents evenings. They can pinpoint which month of which school year your child is working at, which is so much more useful to know. The team at Explore are incredible, so supportive of parents concerns and they get to know all the children really well and create a wonderful learning environment. If you're in any doubt, try it!

My son has been attending the GCSE maths drop in sessions since the beginning of year 11. I only wish he had started in year 10! We added an extra 1 to 1 session in the run up to the GCSEs for an extra boost. Issac and Sean are fantastic teachers. My son has improved so much. Both Issac and Sean explain things in a way that he understands and at his pace. 100% recommend.

Our Son originally started a year ago (yr 3) to assist with his handwriting but he also has an appetite for learning, especially maths. He went from 'needing improvement' with his handwriting to becoming first in his class to receive a pen licence :-). He still attends weekly as he enjoys coming here and its a great way to stay on top of his learning getting that one on one time that schools just simply cannot provide. I highly recommend I Love to Learn, they work well with the children and keep you constantly updated with their progress which was just what I was looking for.

I highly recommend Love to Learn. Two of my children are receiving maths tuition once a week and have just completed the first term. The goal was for our children to start senior school with as much confidence as possible with their maths skills so they never felt behind others making this transition in their schooling. Howard carried out a rigorous initial assessment to ascertain their starting points, from which the excellent tutor (Grazia) planned a programme to support them specifically at their level. I'm very pleased that after their first session both our children said it was very worthwhile and enjoyable - I didn't anticipate this so was thrilled it was the case. Our children quickly developed their skills and confidence and as a result, achieved very well in their two first term assessments. This was a good confidence boost and has placed them in a good maths set. The tutoring is helpful, supportive, but also challenging which is essential for the children to achieve rapid progress. Love to Learn comes highly recommended.

I took my 5 year old daughter here for a free assessment following her end of year school report. My husband and I were very pleased that we were given honest feedback by Howard, who was thorough and professional. We were dubious as to whether or not our daughter’s abilities might be played down to encourage us to pay for future sessions, but I am delighted that this was not the case at all. I would highly recommend Armelle for French tutoring. She worked with my daughter weekly from the end of year 10 through to her GCSEs as she wanted help with her French Oral. Brilliant tutors have so far truly lived up to its name. My daughter is currently enrolled and preparing for 11+. She started in year 5 and I was a bit concerned as a lot of the children start much earlier, given the level of competition. Monica has been extremely approachable from the onset. She has been so supportive, she willingly gave my daughter all the extra time she needed so that she can come up to speed. She is very positive, encouraging and motivating to the children while also maintaining the level of discipline required. We had tried two other very renowned classes in the Earley area but my daughter did not enjoy as their style of teaching was not engaging enough and they failed to understand each child and their potential. Whereas Monica knows every child and their strengths and weaknesses. She doesn’t run the class like a business but has a real love for teaching and that shows in every interaction we’ve had with her. Aldo (chemistry and physics) and Siddharth (maths) are unbelievable. I rang Aldo in the summer before our twins' GCSEs for tutoring with them. Aldo and Siddharth have been an incredibly positive force in our lives - the twins' scores have gone up, but moreover their confidence, their study patterns, their approach to learning has soared. We have a weekly schedule of learning that the twins follow and I can say that Aldo and Siddharth are absolutely the best decision we have made regarding tutoring.
