I took my 5 year old daughter here for a free assessment following her end of year school report. My husband and I were very pleased that we were given honest feedback by Howard, who was thorough and professional. We were dubious as to whether or not our daughter’s abilities might be played down to encourage us to pay for future sessions, but I am delighted that this was not the case at all. We really appreciated this honesty, and I would absolutely recommend the free assessment to get objective feedback on how your child is performing academically. I would definitely use I Love to Learn for any future tutoring for my daughter.

I highly recommend Love to Learn. Two of my children are receiving maths tuition once a week and have just completed the first term. The goal was for our children to start senior school with as much confidence as possible with their maths skills so they never felt behind others making this transition in their schooling. Howard carried out a rigorous initial assessment to ascertain their starting points, from which the excellent tutor (Grazia) planned a programme to support them specifically at their level. I'm very pleased that after their first session both our children said it was very worthwhile and enjoyable - I didn't anticipate this so was thrilled it was the case. Our children quickly developed their skills and confidence and as a result, achieved very well in their two first term assessments. This was a good confidence boost and has placed them in a good maths set. The tutoring is helpful, supportive, but also challenging which is essential for the children to achieve rapid progress. Love to Learn comes highly recommended.

Our Son originally started a year ago (yr 3) to assist with his handwriting but he also has an appetite for learning, especially maths. He went from 'needing improvement' with his handwriting to becoming first in his class to receive a pen licence :-). He still attends weekly as he enjoys coming here and its a great way to stay on top of his learning getting that one on one time that schools just simply cannot provide. I highly recommend I Love to Learn, they work well with the children and keep you constantly updated with their progress which was just what I was looking for.

My son due to been bilingual as English is not his first Language ,and being out of school at reception and half year 1 due to pandemic, and being identified with language disorder and luck of communication,starting at I love to Learn ,was one of the best decisions I have made for him( delayed though) as Since he started ,he liked been there and he had a very big progress during a short period of time. Our son was struggling with maths at school and it was just a few months before his GCSE's when we decided to send him to 'I love to learn' (as recommended by a friend) I had concerns that we'd left it too late, but thanks to Howard and his team, our son quickly gained confidence in areas of maths he'd previously given up on at school. The one to one sessions he received were extremely effective and he progressed well in a short space of time, and managed to pass his Maths GCSE! I would confidently recommend Kara Cook without any hesitation at all, my daughter is 10 years old and was struggling though the lockdown period, she wasn't enjoying Maths and had very little confidence. I feel blessed to have found Kara who was able to bring back the fun in learning and she has a lovely way of communicating with children. My daughters school teacher has even committed on how well Sofia is doing and that she has a deep understanding of maths- words I never thought I would hear!

Having decided we would like the help of a tutor for our daughter for her GCSEs we were a little lost, but thankfully found Tahir! He is a lovely, calm and patient tutor who on a 1 to 1 basis was excellent our daughter. I cannot ask for more than a fantastic tutor. They are beautifully teaching my daughter what to expect in her year group. They know what to expect in SATS exams and teach accordingly. The tutor is adjusting according to our flexible time. I can ask them to teach if my child is weak in any topic and they are happy to teach over again. All-over, I'm so happy with the tuition provider.

I would like to thank Tom for all the support he gave me during my A level Biology course. I achieved an A in my A level Biology exam. The A level Biology group lessons were very informative. Along with the information provided in the lesson, Tom used active recall to test us on our knowledge and engaged us in the lesson which deepened my understanding and retention of A level Biology concepts. Furthermore, when we answered long question types we would use an interactive whiteboard to answer the questions, and he would regularly check our work and provide areas of improvement for our answers. I've been learning basic French for some time now with Adam and it's been great. Adam's very patient and is very good at going at the pace that suits you as the leaner. I particularly like the handouts he uses which gives a very useful structure to the sessions and also something to refer to in your own time. Adam is always on time, without fail, makes maximum use of the 1 hour session, and is very organised in booking holidays/time off. I would definitely recommend using Adam for learning French.

I have been learning French with Adam for nearly a year now. Initially I thought I could learn the language on my own using a language app. After a few lessons with Adam, I learnt that I won't have grasped and appreciated the uniqueness and richness of the language without having a language tutor. Taking lessons with Adam is very beneficial as I get to ask questions on word usage, composition and pronunciation, I also have many homework to do. Adam, merci beaucoup!

Hi, we used Jillian in year 11 to help Sam with his Maths ready for GCSE’s. He found her to be very supportive, calm and liked her teaching methods. He became much more confident in himself with her support and it was definitely the right thing to do!
