Had a great time while completing the medicine work experience. It really helped me see the life as a medical student and seeing their day to day activities. The host was great and replied to all my questions and the co-hosts were very good at communicating with the audience. It was definitely a top work experience programme I have done.
I found the session that I had to be really engaging and styled to replicate the format of interview for the medical school I was interviewing at. I had a session with Ishita from the Mastermedprep team and found that she provided comprehensive feedback about my performance, highlighting what I did well in each of my stations but also providing constructive criticism to develop my answer further which was helpful for my live interviews.
It was in a small group which allowed me to ask numerous questions which I had for the doctor! I personally loved the interactive element of the presentation which constantly made me think carefully and assess the medical scenarios. I also emailed Dr Warrington as I had a query and got a reply back within minutes. Definitely recommend enrolling onto one of their upcoming events!
One of the best experiences I have had in finding experience for getting in to medicine. Felt like every single doctor had a genuine desire to help and educate the students without making the process sound stressful and daunting. Dr Beth Clayton, Dr Cameron and Dr Dan were all very informative and answered every question thoroughly leaving me fully satisfied with the answers.
