This is my second only review on Google and a follow-up to my first. After a devastating disappointment with installers from my 1st review, I called Simon because he was the only one to inform me that my Smart panel would require a different installation procedure that was also apparently indicated by the manufacturer’s website. He didn’t require any information from the manufacturer. This was based on his thorough research and understanding of the mechanics behind the system. What a breath of fresh air to have a good technician by your side. Needless to say, He agreed to a fixed price after inspecting the mess that was left behind by the previous electricians and performed the following tasks: Repositioned and rewire the unit. Remove the 25mm conduits and replace them with 32mm. Installed an additional fusebox and tidied my consumer unit. I honestly have not met a more a professional person in this line of work. I am very grateful to have your competence and will highly recommend your service.

Simon was punctual, knowledgeable, friendly, hard working and energetic. In addition to the work needed, He spent time tracing and finding the source of issues he came across. He showed me the evidence of bad practice from previous electrician which he rectified to make safe. I felt confident with his knowledge and skill and would definitely use his services again and also recommend him to others

I highly recommend Simon. He has done a lot of work for me both major renovations and minor jobs. He is always diligent, professional and hard working. He has high standards yet always very reasonably priced. I would use Simon again without hesitation.

Simon replaced all the electrics in my parent's house. They are both in their 90s so was a big ask. Simon carried out the work with very little interference to my parents and the job was done very quickly. Very pleased.

The guys that saved Xmas! M&S electrical were recommended to me and I’m so grateful they were. They came round 23rd Dec to rewire a new cooker. A huge thank you to Matt, Sean, Chris, Lewis and the rest of the team for splitting our kids bedroom, moving lighting and sockets, plastering and certifying the electrics. M&S take great pride in their correspondence, cleanliness and quality of work. Everyone is friendly, approachable and I felt I could trust leaving my house in their hands. I was recommended to Galvanised Contractors Ltd. by a friend. I have a small woodworking workshop and a home office, that needed the lighting upgrading. I contacted the company and they arranged a site visit within 48 hours of my initial enquiry. Once I accepted the estimate the work was booked for 2 weeks time. Arnie is brilliant! He has added circuits, re done all electrics in every single room and most importantly has made our house safe. We have been using AA Electrical for a number of years and they have always delivered excellent service and results. Tim knows his business really well and is clearly up to date on all the latest developments, meaning you get informed and targeted advice on any repairs or changes you are planning. His team are also excellent - highly skilled, polite, a pleasure to have around.... and tidy! My most recent experience with AA Electrical services has been next to none. My partner and I have recently bought a flat that required quite a lot of work. They completed various works, ranging from fitting new electric radiators and various switches and sockets to fixing an issue with our main circuit board which would have caused us problems in the future. Furthermore after the collapse of carpet right they also helped finishing our flooring and carried out some other decorative works. All to a very high standard! We had Alex carry out most of the works for us from AA. He was absolutely brilliant! Could not recommend them enough!

I had "Electrical Sockets" work-related issues in my kitchen 06/08/24. Sockets connecting with the fridge, micro wave, kettle, washing machine , ninja cooker were not functioning. The oven however was working. Mimi was the electrical personnel from A A electrical services who attended my property. Mimi was: - Came in with the proper tool bags. Disposable shoe covers , presentable work uniforms and well stoked tool bags. - Brilliant in keeping me informed of the issues. - Sought my permission i.e. at various times to do additional testing that required switching off the mains. - Polite and detailed in explaining to me the options I may need to take and their relative costs. - Excellent listener. She replied with respect to my enquirers. - Kept the work area tidy. I highly recommend Mimi and AA Electrical Services.

Scott was incredibly helpful and friendly through the whole process. We needed new lights hung, one light moved and new sockets added. All work was completed efficiently and with minimal disruption while working from home which is massively appreciated. Everything was left very neat and clean, almost as if he was never here! I would recommend Scott without any hesitation.

Scott came to look at and quote for a number of electrical issues and enhancements at my house. He provided a very clear breakdown of costs, made it clear there were options on what could be done when for breaking out the work and provided options for when he could fit in to his schedule. His prices felt fair and the work was to a good standard, with good discussions around options along the way. There were some exterior light units where they had failed and he wasn’t able to change them without me having got replacements first, he made sure the cost that had been quoted for that was deducted. I’ll definitely be going to Scott for electrical needs again

A small job by Scott in November 2024. External lights not working. I thought that a PIR Sensor that triggered the two lamps was faulty. I bought a matching sensor which Scott fitted. The lamps didn’t work. Scott stripped down the lamps and discovered the lamp holders were faulty. Job done in less than an hour. Straight away Scott proved he is a good electrician and works efficiently. I would recommend him.

Error in my first “review”. Everything that has been said about Scott in all the reviews is correct. One could be wary of letting a stranger into your house to do work. With Scott there are no such concerns.From the first telephone conversation to his initial visit and to the work which took place this week I have nothing but praise for him and the work completed.I am looking around the house wondering what other electrical work needs doing be I would use his company again. Just to make it absolutely clear I may have inadvertently posted an earlier review by awarding only one star. This was an error on my part and in no way a criticism of Scott’s excellent work.

MTR we're recommend. Mark turned up on time, came prepared and worked continually until the job was finished. At the end Mark talked me through what he'd done and pointed out a few issues I was not aware of. Very professional, I would recommend MTR.

Mark has just completed his 3rd piece of work for us. He undertook an EICR report a couple of months ago and has today finished the resultant remedial action. We have found Mark to be extremely professional and he takes the time to explain what he is doing and why. Along with his attention to detail and politeness, he is also very punctual and trustworthy. If you are looking for someone that is passionate about their job, who is not only professional, but an outright perfectionist then Darren is your man. I can't recommend him and his team enough. ESS are our go to electrical company. we have used them ever since we moved to our house. They have never disappointed. we have been 100% happy with the work done, and also the price charged. The best thing about ESS is that Alan and his team are just so friendly and accommodating, which I don’t think is always a given with most trades companies. I am leaving this review now as our oven broke 2 working days before christmas when we are hosting. Alan responded immediately to our call, remedied the problem, sourced the part and fixed our oven within 24 hrs. He literally saved christmas. Amazing service as always. Thanks ESS!!
