Extremely impressed with this company to say the least, another Electrician has visited and spent two full hours looking for the problem, but unable to find and of course at a cost. Verwood Electrical responded promptly to my call, found the problem and swiftly resolved the problem, left everything, neat and tidy and job done. Very professional, friendly and neat & tidy workmanship. I will be using them all the time from now on so would highly recommend to all.

I contacted Green Light for a quote for Solar PV Panel installation at the end of March 2023, getting their name from the MCS website and being local to the area. Nick contacted me by phone for an initial phone chat and very quickly produced an initial draft proposal. We arranged a visit to our house to discuss it further and firm up proposals. Nick was punctual and very informative and very keen on Solar. All our questions were answered, he did a thorough site survey and I said we were getting other quotes, which he was supportive of. He then supplied a firm quote which included a consumer (fuse box) unit replacement at the same time. Whilst I was waiting for other quotes Nick was quick to answer any follow up questions we had. The quote from the company was competitive with others and at the beginning of April we accepted the quote and booked a date for installation in May. The deposit could be paid by bank transfer or credit card to give the extra protection under section 75. The Monday agreed on in May arrived and Arthur and colleague arrived to start work, scaffolding had been put up the week before. We discussed a change of location of the inverter and battery if possible and that was incorporated so both were fitted downstairs instead of in the loft. They both worked tirelessly throughout the week, arriving about 0800hrs and not leaving until 1630hrs and seemed to work through any tea and lunch breaks. The work was completed with little mess and what there was was all cleaned up by end of the day. We were expecting more visible wiring trunking, inside and outside but they managed to use the wall cavity to run the wiring from the panels to the consumer unit/inverter so the little visible trunking is all extremely neat and contained around the inverter and battery. The consumer unit change replaced 2 old fuse units and looks so much neater. Whilst the wiring was being changed Arthur wired in sockets so we weren't left totally without electric for the day it took for the unit to be replaced, a nice touch really. On Fri afternoon the work was completed, the Solar panels producing electricity, work area left clean and tidy. A minor issue with battery connectivity was soon resolved the next working day. All in all I would recommend Nick and his company for their obvious commitment to providing a quality service, who are professional, want to do a professional job, arrive on time and work extremely hard to complete a job on time and to a very high standard. A job well done that we are very satisfied with. Nick and his team are to be commended.

The Green Light team did a fantastic job installing the electrics for our two sets of driveway gates. The gates are large and heavy and having them working electronically is so helpful! Nothing was too much trouble and it’s good to be able to use such a reliable local business.

Green Light Electrical installations were very quick to come to our rescue when a couple of spotlights in our ensuite decided to "give up the ghost". We phoned in the morning and a lovely lad was with us by lunchtime, and job completed quickly and efficiently. Would definitely recommend them.

Good electrician, shame about his timekeeping but made up for it when he arrived, new lights fitted in the closet.

Wanted to say a big thank you to the Smart Home team. I've had a GivEnergy solar panel system fitted and the whole process was a breeze. After enquiring about a solar panel system from Smart Home Technical, I very quickly received a full quote for the system to be fitted, Simon very kindly gave me advice on which system would be best for our needs, took the time to explain everything and was not pushy in the slightest. Even after having the panels fitted he will still happily answers any more queries I have. After agreeing to go forward with having them fitted, Rhys came round at short notice and checked that the system would fit where we wanted it to go. The rest of the process from here on was just as efficient and professional. Matt came to wire it all up and did a very neat and tidy job and had us all up and running very quickly. All in all just a great experience and thank you again to the whole team.

We used Smart Home Technical for our self build project and they installed our solar panels and all electrical requirements. All the team were hardworking, efficient and helpful. Fantastic service. I found the process of choosing an EV charger very complex (for more than I expected). Smart Home Technical responded quickly to my enquiry and explained everything. They did all the hard work of working out what I needed so that I didn't need to. The installer was excellent - a really tidy installation and left no mess behind. Highly recommended.
