Ben built us a large bespoke utility cupboard with an adjoining dresser unit, made to match the style and colour of our existing kitchen units. He discussed our requirements, made suggestions, produced diagrams and worked around our builders. We have been very impressed with the quality of work. The soft-close drawers and shelves take a substantial weight of china and bottles! I would definitely recommend Ben and hope to use him again for other projects in the future.

From our first meeting with David for a quote we were so impressed. From listening to what we envisioned he offered ideas and started to draw out designs, he knew exactly what we was looking for. Our loft conversion is an awkward pitched roof but he still managed to make the perfect bespoke cupboard & storage solution which other companies we didn’t feel had the same knowledge to do so. We were so glad we decided to go ahead with Blackburn Rose, Dave is one talented joiner. We asked for shaker style doors and he also offered to paint in a specific colour we were looking for. He was super tidy and we would recommend his work to anyone, thanks again Blackburn Rose for totally transforming our room.

David recently built a large fitted wardrobe unit for us. His work was of very high standard and we're delighted with the result. David did a fantastic job for us. He custom made two alcove units either side of the fireplace. The walls were uneven and he managed to fit the shelves and cupboards in seamlessly. He is the tidiest, neatest professional tradesman I have met. His attention to detail is exceptional. I highly recommend him.

We could not find fault in the full process of David’s work - from kicking off the project gaining a quote, to the design process and fit - we felt truly involved and able to create our own bespoke piece of joinery for our dining room. Throughout the build David was a pleasure to have on the house, the dining room was left immaculate every night (despite the dust the job created) and tools were left clean every night so the project didn’t take over our living space. We look forward to getting him back in for more work and enjoy how this work has become the heart of our home which gets so many compliments every time people see it for the first time!

High quality joinery We have used Martin Beardsall to replace all our old windows with double glazing in our small cottage. It was a challenging task particularly on a West window which previous joiners had tried and failed to rectify, water getting in and unsatisfactory quality. He came up with a fantastic revolving window using a Darwin hinge in an arched framed double glazed unit, it has always been a problem cleaning from outside, but hey presto, no more window cleaners walking on the kitchen roof to reach it. The joinery work on the front window was challenging because he modified the existing frame and created a far more aesthetically pleasing and functional window. We have found him and his staff a pleasure to have around and recently recommended him to our neighbours, who’ve been delighted with the work that has been done. Thanks Martin Alison and Linda
