Oz has done several jobs for us including a new garden gate, putting up a picture rail and fixing some doors that were sticking or the handles didn't work. His work is always solid and high quality, would highly recommend.

Oz built some custom shelves for us for the living room. He is friendly and very knowledgeable. Oz is transparent and fair with how he prices, and sticks to his schedule. We will use Oz again, as we need a custom shelving unit for our upstairs office.

Oz created a bespoke bookshelf for us. Very happy with the result and quality.

Paul fitted 8 new cottage style doors in our Victorian Semi to replace the original 140 year old pine ones that were really showing their age The transformation is amazing. The doors he supplied were already coated in a nice primed finish, and actually were exactly the same colour as our choice of paint, which was Creme Del la Creme in the French Chic range ,so we only had to paint the sides he individually planed to fit . I cannot recommend Philip enough from start to finish for fitting my entire kitchen. When Philip first came to look at my house and when we first met, he was on time and an extremely nice genuine person. He made lots of ideas and suggestions to improve on my plans using his knowledge and experiences. Although I had a fairly large kitchen, I was actually on a tight budget. Philip’s quote arrived on time and was "extremely" favourable in comparison to two other quotes I received. He took great care to protect my new oak floor. Each day the house was left clean and tidy. He was extremely reliable and 100% trustworthy. Philips attention to detail was excellent and I couldn't fault anything he did. My entire kitchen looks STUNNING ! And to say I am delighted with him workmanship is an understatement. As soon as I have saved up, I would like Philip to return and make me a treehouse and other projects.....he is that good....

Phil is the consumate professional you've always dreamed of. We have had several jobs done by Phil, fitting new doors with oak lintel, oak shelving and bespoke wardrobes in a challenging space. He will spend as long as you require to discuss the project and will always find a solution which, when finished, is exactly what you were expecting. Courteous, tidy and always turns up when he says he will! Can't recommend highly enough and we will undoubtedly use Phil again.

Phil has recently completed the most beautiful set of 4 fitted bookcases with cupboards below and a cupboard across the bay window. We are thrilled! Phil developed a design based on our basic needs and the finished effect is amazing: he has such good aesthetic sense and attention to detail. He is tidy and considerate and goes the extra mile: he offered to do our skirting boards too so that the fit with the cupboards is immaculate. Would definitely ask Phil back. And a thoroughly nice man as well as being a highly talented professional; a great experience! (Will add photos later)

If you’re thinking of having Phil undertake carpentry at your house please do not hesitate. He is a consummate professional, excellent at his craft and on top of that a really friendly bloke. We wanted a bespoke staircase fitted in our home, modelled on the original 1960s open tread staircase, and Phil did an excellent job (see photos). He worked so hard to make the staircase practical and beautiful and we have had so many comments on how beautiful it is. We would happily use Phil again and recommend him to friends and family.

Chet turned our old airing cupboard into a neat & useful space. As usual, he is meticulous, regularly consulting with me as he progressed. Rafa fitted a built in wardrobe in my bedroom he helped me design what I had in mind, and built the wardrobe and spray painted the doors to the exact paint colour we wanted. Adam and his team took great care for the design of our short staircase banisters, offering helpful suggestions to improve the effectiveness and was flexible to our requirements and choices. The work was carried out neatly and tidily and we enjoyed having them there with their enormous amount of equipment. Unfortunately as incorrect spindles were supplied to them, there was a long delay in completing the job, otherwise it would have been 5 stars.

We recently had our staircase refurbished with oak spindles and a feature bottom step, and 16 internal doors replaced with oak doors. We could not have come across three nicer guys as Adam, Tom and Cameron who did a job beyond are expectations. Excellent in their trade, very tidy in their work and cleared up every night. Custom built cabinets to house our washer and dryer. Professional service, outstanding build quality. A few problems for them to overcome in an awkward odd sized room and the end result is top notch. I was looking for a local carpenter to replace door handles and locks. Stephen was absolutely fantastic, he was very busy but very honest about when he could get the job completed. The job was completed to my satisfaction, i would highly recommend Stephen.

I rang Stephen aston for a quote on 5 internal doors to be fitted and supplied . It was a tricky job as my doors were not the usual doors sizes. Stephen came round and seemed a nice guenine bloke. He advised me on what doors I could have and said he would email the quote all laid out so I knew exactly what I was paying for. After I received quote which was very reasonable, i went ahead with him. He came when he said he would and fitted my five doors and door furniture. What an excellent job he did and was very friendly and helpful along the way . He was a clean and tidy worker and even disposed of my old doors at no extra cost. A few months had passed since doors fitted and I noticed 2 doors had swelled due to the hot weather. So I gave Stephen a call to see if he could help. No bother he arranged to come around and he re -hung the doors for me at no extra cost. All in all a first class carpenter and does an excellent job for a fair price. I would recommend him to anyone if you want a professional job doing and not one of these jack of all trades cowboys. Thanks Stephen first class job.
