We have had the pleasure of using Top Build Carpentry on our most recent project after finding them through recommendation. Their work and attention to detail were excellent. Their craftsmanship and attention to detail was amazing. We recently had a media wall installed by them, and the entire process was seamless from start to finish. From the initial consultation where they listened attentively to our ideas and requirements and tailored the design specifically to our needs, to the delivery and install. The whole team was very professional and a pleasure to work with. Our new media wall not only looks stunning but is also incredibly functional, maximising every millimetre of space!

Adam and his team took great care for the design of our short staircase banisters, offering helpful suggestions to improve the effectiveness and was flexible to our requirements and choices. The work was carried out neatly and tidily and we enjoyed having them there with their enormous amount of equipment. Unfortunately as incorrect spindles were supplied to them, there was a long delay in completing the job, otherwise it would have been 5 stars.

I had my stairs renovated by A&T Stairs Ltd recently. Adam, Tom and Cameron were amazing - they turned up as arranged, completed the job to the highest standard as well as being super-tidy throughout the process. I am absolutely delighted with the end result and would highly recommend them to anyone thinking about having their stairs refreshed. 👍😃

We recently had our staircase refurbished with oak spindles and a feature bottom step, and 16 internal doors replaced with oak doors. We could not have come across three nicer guys as Adam, Tom and Cameron who did a job beyond are expectations. Excellent in their trade, very tidy in their work and cleared up every night. Would definitely recommend.

Dave and his amazing team, transformed our garage into two separate spaces; an office and a snug/ play room. We cannot rate Dave and his team high enough- they work exceptionally hard and their attention to detail is outstanding. They clean up after themselves each day and leave everywhere spotless. Dave and the team did our dormer loft conversion. From the moment Dave came to quote, he was thorough and resolved issues quickly as they arose. During the work, everything was communicated and the team always went the extra mile! The clean up at the end of every day was second to none which we definitely appreciated with two small children. We can’t recommend Dave enough and have already lined him up for future work!

Dave and his team have done an incredible job on our dormer loft conversion and a couple of additional smaller jobs. We’ve been very impressed with the high standard of work and attention to detail shown throughout. The communication was great before the job even started and through the whole job, we were always kept in the loop. Our existing space had a lot of issues which were encountered early-on, but Dave was able to update the plans on the fly to come up with a good end result. I was recommended DaniDeco but was unprepared for how fantastic they would be. They painted my whole house from top to bottom and their attention to detail was awesome. Wayne refurbished my bathroom six months ago and it is absolutely amazing. Even before starting the project, he assisted in providing paperwork for the leasehold license of alteration. He completed the work swiftly and immaculately. The original toilet, washbasin and bath were removed and replaced accordingly, with a large step-in shower installed in the bath footprint. A new heated rail and extractor, plus a heated and lighted vanity mirror/cabinet complete the room perfectly. The room is so easy to keep clean as the wall-flushed mounting of the toilet and washbasin has created more room in what is a small area within the ground floor apartment. Wayne is always available for any matters, however trivial, and I would highly recommend him for any home improvements.

Wayne was recommended to us by friends, he renovated an old, very small bathroom for us. At every turn there were problems, but they were resolved with Wayne’s usual calm and thorough approach and, nothing was too much trouble. He even managed to create extra floor area for us - not a lot- but it made all the difference. We are very pleased with our bathroom. He is reliable, knowledgable and works to very high standards. We would have no hesitation in recommending him.

Wayne has helped us with a number of home renovation projects from bathrooms, to bedrooms, to kitchens and even external rendering. Every job has been of the highest standard. Additionally, Wayne is a personable, knowledgeable and highly skilled individual. Oz built some custom shelves for us for the living room. He is friendly and very knowledgeable. Oz is transparent and fair with how he prices, and sticks to his schedule. We will use Oz again, as we need a custom shelving unit for our upstairs office.

Oz has done several jobs for us including a new garden gate, putting up a picture rail and fixing some doors that were sticking or the handles didn't work. His work is always solid and high quality, would highly recommend.

I have been using this company for years for many carpentry jobs including new doors and associated ironmongery etc. Structural floors and finishing works. 🥇 Only small draw back is that they don't do all the building work i need , like plumbing. 😄

We used Scott from 1st Choice Carpentry & Building to install our new kitchen. He did a fantastic job for us - installed to a really high standard, with minimal disruption. Scott is polite and friendly, and a tidy worker. He kept us informed about everything during the process. Scott came to do some panelling, build a bespoke cupboard and fit a ceiling rose. His workmanship is excellent. My living room is transformed! He listened to exactly what I wanted, was incredibly reliable and communicated well. He even worked late until the job was done! Wonderful service! I would definitely recommend him and his company.

Scott has played a very important role in our home renovation project! We've done everything from changing the windows to outside cladding, indoor carpentry and plastering etc. Absolutely impeccable craftsmanship from Scott, cannot fault a single thing he's touched! We get so many compliments on our house from passer-bys these days and it is hugely thanks to him! Scott is an honest tradesman who takes time to understand what needs to be done, but he's also got a wealth of experience and is happy to suggest ways things should be done, too. Scott also helped to recommended other tradesmen for the work that he can't do himself. Let me tell you, every person that he recommended has done well! So as long as we live in Sutton Coldfield, we'll be going back to Scott if anything else needs doing. PS: To the person who's left one star review. Sorry you missed on having Scott doing some work on your house! He really is very busy and when your quote slipped through, he was very busy with all that work that was being done on our house. This, however, shouldn't warrant a one star review, as it isn't a reflection of Scott's actual craftsmanship, which what these reviews should be about! Thanks!

guys did a great job on our mid century house with quirky 1960s original design that was very neglected. fixed our very squeaky staircase which another team failed to fix. Was also delighted with the reconstruction of an unusual slate and wood original feature matching exactly areas that were undamaged. very considerate, knowledgeable and hard working dudes and I would say great value too.

All we can say is what an amazing person is Rafa from RRJ carpentry his work is Absolutely amazing and explains everything from start to finish. His carpentry skill are A**** and would recommend to anyone wanting work done . Rafa fitted a built in wardrobe in my bedroom he helped me design what I had in mind, and built the wardrobe and spray painted the doors to the exact paint colour we wanted.
