Rafa and team worked wonders on my kitchen. They replaced an old work surface with solid oak, fitted a wall cupboard and created a bespoke solution to cover my unsightly boiler pipes. Good communication throughout, adaptable and competitively priced. They took care to keep things clean and tidy too, putting down dust overs and hoovering after finishing the job. I am delighted with the finish and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.

Rafa fitted a built in wardrobe in my bedroom he helped me design what I had in mind, and built the wardrobe and spray painted the doors to the exact paint colour we wanted. guys did a great job on our mid century house with quirky 1960s original design that was very neglected. fixed our very squeaky staircase which another team failed to fix. Was also delighted with the reconstruction of an unusual slate and wood original feature matching exactly areas that were undamaged. very considerate, knowledgeable and hard working dudes and I would say great value too.

Adam and his team took great care for the design of our short staircase banisters, offering helpful suggestions to improve the effectiveness and was flexible to our requirements and choices. The work was carried out neatly and tidily and we enjoyed having them there with their enormous amount of equipment. Unfortunately as incorrect spindles were supplied to them, there was a long delay in completing the job, otherwise it would have been 5 stars.

I was very impressed with Ivan’s work on my staircase and balustrade and would highly recommend him to others. Ivan and Paul transformed our staircase from a boring and out of date studded and capped partition wall into a classy and contemporary oak banister with white spindle balustrade with oak base that has opened up our hall, stairway and landing just as we intended. We were most impressed by his craftsmanship and professionalism, especially as most of the work was done on the snowiest and coldest days of 2024!

Dave and his team have done an incredible job on our dormer loft conversion and a couple of additional smaller jobs. We’ve been very impressed with the high standard of work and attention to detail shown throughout. The communication was great before the job even started and through the whole job, we were always kept in the loop. Our existing space had a lot of issues which were encountered early-on, but Dave was able to update the plans on the fly to come up with a good end result. We can’t recommend Prestidge Building and Carpentry enough and we won’t hesitate to get in contact again for future jobs. Many thanks to Dave and the team.

Turned a dark and chilly attic into a sunny bedroom with en suite. Very happy. Further to that Dave and his guys turned up in time and did the whole job within the timescale, agreed, creating as little mess as possible during the process.

Dave and the team did our dormer loft conversion. From the moment Dave came to quote, he was thorough and resolved issues quickly as they arose. During the work, everything was communicated and the team always went the extra mile! The clean up at the end of every day was second to none which we definitely appreciated with two small children. Steve and Matt provided a first class job hanging two new lounge doors and a matching side screen. Also manufactured new stairway into the lounge with glass insets to a very high standard. All of the work was superb and we would have no hesitation in recommending them for all carpentry work to anyone.

Excellent service from Rubien today, had to have an emergency call out to fix the front door, after sending him a quick video of the problem, he gave me a quote. When doing the job, he found it to be a bigger job than expected and said it may cost more. After several attempts of fixing it, he eventually succeeded and still only charged me the original quote. I hired this contractor to fit 7 Oak internal doors, cap an open staircase with new Oak steps, and install new skirting boards in certain areas of the property. Communication throughout the process was excellent, and the work was completed both effectively and efficiently. The quality of the work was top-notch, and the cost was very competitive. I am very pleased with the results. Would I hire them again? Yes. Would I recommend their services? Absolutely.
