One of my double glazed panes popped and shattered in my bathroom on Saturday last week. I contacted Dominic who came out the next day to have a look and measured up for a new pane which he fitted yesterday evening. As usual excellent service from Dominic.

I have recently had a new front door & porch door fitted by Dom, his workmanship is excellent. I, also unexpectedly had to have my patio doors replaced as I couldn't lock them & was concerned about security. I contacted Dom & he came immediately to secure them for me which I was very grateful for. He replaced the patio doors & he advised me on the style to choose but not in a "pushy" way. It's been a pleasure having him in my home knowing I can trust him, even though he had to put up with my little dog! Thanks Dom

Steve fitted our Howdens kitchen and I wholeheartedly recommend him. Communication was great, the standard of his work was excellent, delivered exactly as promised, and he was respectful of being in our home at all times.

Kitchens of Solihull fitted a kitchen and breakfast room for us and we are really pleased with the results. Steve was helpful and patient through the design stage, providing practical suggestions on what would and might not work, and producing updated design pictures. They kept in contact through the period ahead of the work starting, which was reassuring and helped make sure we were prepared. They were great with managing the different trades involved, replanning when issues emerged (e.g. making good existing floor and wall issues), and all of the people involved were really good, with substantial electrical, plumbing flooring and decorating involved. The quality and fitting of the units, doors (from companies they work with, albeit it was clear we could choose from elsewhere too) and worktops is excellent. We’ve had the new kitchen several weeks now and remain delighted – with the kitchen and the cost.

Working with Mario has been fantastic! He did engineered wood flooring and bespoke shelving for us. The quality of the work has been exceptional and he was also ready to solve any difficulties along the way, as for example levelling the floor, repair broken steps etc. Moreover, the pricings were all in line with the quote and very reasonable.

When we bought our new house, we were faced with the unexpected problem of a rotten kitchen. Even though we'd had a survey done, the survey didn't highlight how bad the kitchen was. We had to rip the kitchen out with two weeks to our moving day. We were recommended Mario's services by a friend from the school run and Mario was able to fit a store bought kitchen quickly and efficiently. Mario saved the day for us. We moved in on time. Nigel and his team at Oakwood completed a ground floor extension and remodel to create an open plan living space. As a single female, I was nervous about hiring a builder as you hear so many horror stories. I was made to feel at ease and Nigel's technical knowledge gave me confidence in his abilities. During the work my house was left clean and tidy at the end of every day with great consideration given to the fact I was still living in the property. The attention to detail was exceptional and the end result surpassed all my expectations. I will not hesitate to hire Oakwood in the future and have already recommended them to friends and family.

Nigel and the team did some work enlarging a window at the front of the property (quite extensive - lots of work required to the roof aswell). Throughout Nigel was reliable and considerate and the work was completed on time and to a very high standard. Oz has done several jobs for us including a new garden gate, putting up a picture rail and fixing some doors that were sticking or the handles didn't work. His work is always solid and high quality, would highly recommend.

Manufactured and fitted top quality wooden windows and hardware for us, installed to a high standard and all according to listed building stipulations. Produced initial general drawings for apraisal and then fully detailed drawings for inclusion in our listed building consent application. During installation, everyone on site was talkative, polite, approachable, good natured and knowledgeable - punctual, working quickly but with care. The overall project manager always responded promptly to messages and calls, was pro-active and defined a project timeline that was adhered to. Highly recommended.

Hello Richard, we write to say a huge thank you to you and everyone else at Nicholson Carpentry and Joinery for the Accoya French Door set you so beautifully manufactured and installed for us. We knew the job in hand would not be straightforward due to distorted brickwork and wonky levels resulting from historic subsidence so we needed to choose carefully well established and highly regarded craftsmen who we were confident could overcome issues arising. We made a great choice! Everything ran like clockwork from survey to completion in a truly professional manner. The old doors and frame were removed efficiently without fuss or mess, the new door set was fitted with upmost care and precision and all making good, finishing and tidying up was done likewise. We had delayed and saved for many years to replace our old doors and we are absolutely over the moon with our new ones. They are a joy to use and look at. Nathen done a great job on my kitchen/diner extension. He boarded out walls and ceilings and skimmed all over. The finish was top quality. He was clean and tidy and his price was very reasonable. I have booked him in again to do my stairs/hall and landing. His work is top quality 5⭐
