We used Scott from 1st Choice Carpentry & Building to install our new kitchen. He did a fantastic job for us - installed to a really high standard, with minimal disruption. Scott is polite and friendly, and a tidy worker. He kept us informed about everything during the process. The price we paid was very competitive and we would definitely use him again for any further carpentry or building work we needed done. We highly recommend Scott 👍

Neat, tidy and very good attention to detail and great quality. I have been using this company for years for many carpentry jobs including new doors and associated ironmongery etc. Structural floors and finishing works. 🥇 Only small draw back is that they don't do all the building work i need , like plumbing. 😄

Would recommend using Scott, searched through quite a few carpenters on google before deciding to use his services. I was not disappointed with the result and his workmanship, a tidy and friendly contractor, who kept me informed throughout the build and helped me out with additional jobs around the house at no extra hassle.

Scott has played a very important role in our home renovation project! We've done everything from changing the windows to outside cladding, indoor carpentry and plastering etc. Absolutely impeccable craftsmanship from Scott, cannot fault a single thing he's touched! We get so many compliments on our house from passer-bys these days and it is hugely thanks to him! Scott is an honest tradesman who takes time to understand what needs to be done, but he's also got a wealth of experience and is happy to suggest ways things should be done, too. Scott also helped to recommended other tradesmen for the work that he can't do himself. Let me tell you, every person that he recommended has done well! So as long as we live in Sutton Coldfield, we'll be going back to Scott if anything else needs doing. PS: To the person who's left one star review. Sorry you missed on having Scott doing some work on your house! He really is very busy and when your quote slipped through, he was very busy with all that work that was being done on our house. Dave and the professional team at Prestige were so wonderful, and the quality of their services is fantastic. Very reliable, well focused, punctual, good at communication and great service quality . Their quality craftsmanship is worth appreciation.did a great job for us, were efficient and quick. I am very happy and satisfied with the services. Already got two more jobs done by them after looking at their work during first job. Have some more work planned and will definitely be on top of list for me for any building work needs. Very professional yet friendly and came back whenever needed to do anything to make his job perfectly finished. Paid attention to details and left everyday after completing as much cleaning as they could at that stage. Definitely, I will recommend to others as well.

Dave and the team did our dormer loft conversion. From the moment Dave came to quote, he was thorough and resolved issues quickly as they arose. During the work, everything was communicated and the team always went the extra mile! The clean up at the end of every day was second to none which we definitely appreciated with two small children. Dave and his amazing team, transformed our garage into two separate spaces; an office and a snug/ play room. Dave and his team have done an incredible job on our dormer loft conversion and a couple of additional smaller jobs. We’ve been very impressed with the high standard of work and attention to detail shown throughout. The communication was great before the job even started and through the whole job, we were always kept in the loop. Our existing space had a lot of issues which were encountered early-on, but Dave was able to update the plans on the fly to come up with a good end result. We brought a second hand kitchen online and Matthew came and fitted it in our kitchen. Re designing it on the way so that it fits perfectly and flows throughout. Fantastic job. From the initial meeting with Sue in the showroom, to the final act of installing our kitchen we cannot fault the service. We were encouraged for our input, and advised by their experience, where necessary. There was no weak link in the team, from Ross with the design to the final fitting, all individuals played their part in a confident, friendly, professional way. We actually missed not seeing John and Alex when the job was finished. We would have no problem recommending Aldridge kitchens and would definitely use them again in the future.

Even at the installation stage an additional slimline cupboard, that would have been dead space, was added at our request. The timescale provided was stuck too. If you want a great quality kitchen then use Aldridge kitchens! We had a previous disaster kitchen that had to be ripped out from one of the big kitchen retailers. So we were really cautious to make sure we picked the right kitchen company second time round. We definitely did the right thing picking Aldridge kitchens. From the moment we stepped into the showroom Ross was so helpful with putting together our kitchen plan and making sure we was happy with absolutely everything. The choice of products and colours in the showroom is fantastic. You will be spoilt for choice. When doing the job, he found it to be a bigger job than expected and said it may cost more. After several attempts of fixing it, he eventually succeeded and still only charged me the original quote. So polite, professional and fast, all on a Sunday afternoon, thank you Rubien, highly recommend your company

I needed to reconfigure my wardrobe, and put new doors on, I contacted Craig and he was happy to take the job. As I was was unsure what I actually needed, Craig was happy to offer his advice on what materials I would need for the job(s). New wardrobe looks brilliant, given me so much more room, storage cuboard has been transformed with new shelves, which has given me room to put in shoe storange boxes and he converted a built in chest of drawers into a long awaited make-up/dressing table, all within two days! Everything has been finished to a professional standard, GREAT service, arrived on time, left no mess, and was always smiling. I will contact him again when I have more jobs to get done.
