Tom and Ashley from Derby Roofing responded very quickly when my roof was damaged by the recent storms. They provided a good repair at a reasonable price, also helping my neighbour with damage to his roof at my request.

Having had bad experiences with roofers in the past, we were very wary of contracting " unknowns" for the very big job of a whole new roof for our bungalow. Out of the 4 quotes we had, we chose Derby Roofing, as Tom and Ash were honest, up front and very knowledgeable. l am so pleased we did!!! The job took two weeks and is immaculate! They worked so hard every day and cleared up mess as they went along. We needed some cladding replacing too and they used a contact of theirs, Dan, who was equally as good as his job. They explained the whole process as the job was proceeding and honestly, were really pleasant to have around too! Polite , cheerful and thoughtful. In short, a perfect job, done by honest, pleasant men for a reasonable price. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

I contacted Simon and he came round to give me a quote on a leaking flat roof. The quote price was as expected. Due to the weather his team could not do the repair on my flat roof straight away, but as soon as the weather improved and he could fit my repair in he sent his team round. 3 of them came and i could not fault them. They were all polite and kept me informed. The job was completed in a day but a a small area was missed. As soon as i spoke to Simon the day after when he came to take payment he understood and sorted the missed area straight away with no issues and before i had to pay. His team came round within half an hour and fixed the missed area. Brilliant. All rubbish was cleared from my drive as promised and the flat roof looks so good now. I would definitely contact Simon again and would recommend them to others who need a roof repair. Thank you Simon and the team.

Simon was recommended by my sister and husband. I had a problem with the ridge tiles, he came along quoted me a price and a week later the ridge tiles were replaced by an excellent team, also solved a further issue for me. I would definitely use Ark Roofers again.

Antony was a lovely guy. He replaced the tiles in between our two bay windows. He did a fabulous job, really chuffed. Our house looks the best on the street 😊 Would recommend him to anyone. And would definitely use him for any other tile work.

We had Antony to do some fairly extensive repairs to our house and garage roofs during August 2024. The repairs consisted of completely re bedding all the ridge tiles and complete re pointing of all the gable ends including total replacement of all soffit boards. The workmanship and quality of materials were first class together with attention to detail. Antony was very thorough with clearing and removing rubbish every day and going above and beyond with additional work which wasn't charged for. He also keeps you well informed of progress and is also an extremely pleasant man. Antony loves a few mugs of hot, strong tea, but no biscuits though, without this affecting work output as he is very hard working. We would have no hesitation at all in recommending Mickleover Roofline for any roofing project large or small.

We have known Anthony for many years. He is honest, hard working and has made an excellent job of releading around our chimney on our 230 year old cottage. Not easy! We had already paid to have it fixed by a different company who left us with a worse leak than we had before! We are now watertight and very happy! He knows his business inside out! We would recommend Anthony without reservation.

So happy with my first visit here. I was just passing by and popped in to enquire about a full head colour/ colours. I met the owner first, who dropped everything to welcome me and had a full consultation including skin and hair test. I was booked in with Cami, who specialises in what I was asking for. I was looked after really well on the day, all the staff were very friendly and offered tea! Cami was professional, knowledgeable, competent and enthusiastic... couldn't ask for more. Not only was Cami friendly and funny, but I was kept in the loop as to what was being done throughout the process. The results are fantastic and I recommend this place to anyone 💗 Thank you!

I had a free hair consultation last week with Natalie . I’ve had several bad experiences with hairdressers in the past , and Natalie understood everything I said , she went through the whole process with me and gave me all my options and information . When I came back a few days ago for my actual hair appointment , the staff were friendly and nothing was too much trouble , lovely friendly atmosphere. For the first time in many years I left a salon with exactly what I had asked for . Ive found my new hairdresser and I honestly cannot recommend Natalie or the salon enough . 5* service , staff and outcome , Thankyou !!!

This is my new favourite hairdresser, had a balayage and cut and was so nervous going in with too many ideas of what I wanted but not sure how to explain it. Ben knew how to make it work with my hair and ensured my hair was dyed properly to stay healthy. So happy with the result and it was a lovely place to sit for a few hours!

I came in not even knowing what I wanted! I knew I loved being blonde, but needed something low maintenance, since having a baby, I just haven’t got the time (or energy!) for high maintenance colours. Ben instantly figured out what I needed before I knew myself & created a fantastic style for me. Giving me the beauty of darker hair to maintain less whilst still feeling and looking blonde. After my latest visit to the salon today I can honestly say the whole experience was perfect (as it always is). From my first visit (way back when) I have always received high quality treatments in relaxing surroundings from the lovely Rebecca. I consider her prices to be fair (for all services) and well worth paying, if only for the positive difference you feel from entering to leaving. I can confidently and highly recommended a visit and always feel happy to have an appointment booked or to recieve a gift voucher, which I also love to buy to give to my nearest and dearest so they can have a pamper treat.

Absolutely delighted with my first CACI eye revive treatment today with Diane. I was really impressed when visiting Mulberry Beauty for the first time. Everyone was really welcoming and friendly. It didn't feel clinical in anyway. Becky gave me a brilliant back, shoulder and neck massage. It was the best massage I'd had for sometime. She asked for my preferences on the firmness of the massage which was really refreshing. Colin did a great job repairing my broken gas fire. He was very patient and good-humoured during a rather frustrating exercise and I recommend his services unreservedly. Next task will be servicing my gas boiler.

Colin was amazing, gave him a quick call this morning as our heating had packed up and he was able to fit in a quick visit where he discovered it was actually our hive system not sat on the wall properly. He was also able to service the boiler and place a carbon monoxide detector in the house. Wasn’t expecting him to be able to stay and sort the issue but even though I know he is busy he stayed to sort out the issue. Brilliant service, extremely friendly. I am so pleased I know who to call now if we have any future problems.

We booked in with Colin for a boiler service after reading his amazing reviews online, and I can certainly say his work and knowledge lived up to what we expected. After having a previous dodgy boiler guy, it was a breath of fresh air having Colin come in with his honesty and trustworthiness! I would highly recommend him for your plumbing and heating work!!

Colin came round as soon as he could and saw that we were in desperate need of hot water and heating - took us on as a priority and fitted us a new boiler the same day! He is so lovely and easy to work with!
