Jack has done all the electrical work on our extension; a single story kitchen, utility and toilet. Jack came out as soon as we had the structure up and went though our needs. Jack is very organised, thorough in his planning and very tidy. He pays attention to detail, and also offered advice on things we’d not thought about. After the first fix, was wasn’t due to see Jack again until the second fix, but a slight change to the initial plan, and a need for heat and smoke alarms, and Jack managed to fit us in to install ahead of plastering. Jack also moved our consumer unit, and did a super neat job of that too, so we now have an up to date, safer consumer unit that is better suited to our needs. Before our kitchen was installed he called round to check everything once again and then as soon as our kitchen was in, Jack returned to finish off the second fix. Jack was happy to do some additions for us, and it never felt like anything was too much for him. He even did some restorative work for us that wasn’t really within his remit, but he wanted it looking right. On top of his professionalism he genuinely one the nicest lads I’ve met, arrives when he say he will and leaves it very tidy. Thank you so much.

Jack completed the electrics in our front and rear extension. It was a pleasure having Jack around the house and he was very conscientious when completing the work. He also offered advice and potential improvements to our plans throughout the course of his works. I would highly recommend Jack if you need any electrical works completing.

After being recommended them by a close friend, I decided to reach out to Vokes Electrical for a quote for changing all of the lighting in my house to down-lights. I had a rough idea of which lights I wanted and where I wanted them positioned within each of the rooms, and of the 4 companies that came to see the house the guy from Vokes (Jack) was the only only person that actually sat down with me and went over the finer details of where I'd like the lights positioned and provided feedback from his professional point of view, even going so far as to get out a laser level to show me where he thought I should place the lights - as a result, I ended up being able to remove 3 down-lights from the project and 2 of my rooms now look a lot better than they otherwise would of. He managed to finish the whole house in 2 days, was a really pleasant guy to speak to and even went as far as recommending me a specific generation of Philips Hue bulb because they didnt stick out as much as the older (cheaper) version I was looking at buying, which had he of not warned me, would of been an expensive mistake for me to make.

Jack is really reliable and I recommend him all the time. He’s very patient when I’ve got dates wrong or changed my mind! I’ve worked with him in a work capacity on the renovation of an old mill (where he was asked to do unusual things for particular artist’s equipment and lighting and was great with the artists) and in my own home 🏠

We called Neale in as we had no electricity in our bathroom and the fan in the downstairs loo was intermittent. We were very happy with Neale's work and he corrected the faults quickly. We would certainly use Neale Brendon in the future and recommend him for any electrical work.

Neale provided his expertise to replace an induction hob for my elderly mum, nothing was too much trouble; his service was quick and professional and he spent time to show my mum the controls and functions of the new appliance. We had our porch roof replaced in January and the guys did a great job. We've agreed for the new tiles, fascia and guttering however my partner spotted that the old rotten fascia was just covered with the new one, so he's asked for removing the old one and it got done. Overall effect was satisfactory and we would happily recommend FB Roofing.

Fred is very knowledgeable and went into detail regarding root cause and fixing my roof. When he noticed anything he communicated straight away with the best solution. I had new fascias, soffits and guttering too as part of the overall package of work, looks great!. I'm happy with the way the work was carried out and I would not hesitate to recommend Fred as he would go the extra mile to make sure the job is done right.

Fred came to my property to look as to why my roof was leaking into my house.. having previously paid £££ on a new roof that was done by cowboys! New roof installed, whole process from initial contact to completion has been excellent! I would give this company 10 out of 10 - they turned up punctually, completed work to a very high standard and cleaned up thoroughly when job completed. Icing on the cake was the level of customer service - we had complications due to solar panels through a lease company being removed prior to work - Fred, the owner, has been incredibly patient with my sometimes daily calls for advice. Luckily a friend gave us Grahams contact details and we booked a number of tuition sessions in the holidays leading up to my daughter’s GCSE maths exams. Graham has completely changed my daughters attitude to maths and her confidence has rocketed. Graham spent time identifying gaps in my daughters knowledge and where she was struggling then worked through those areas to ensure she felt confident. My daughter and I have really appreciated text messages from Graham too after each of her maths exams to see how she got on. I had reason to call an electrician for some advice today. I'm planning some kitchen works and needed information about what equipment to plan around, including routing of cables, where to position boxes etc. Ryan called me back quickly and kindly shared his expert advice in lots of detail, explaining the parts I wasn't clear on, clarifying why my schoolboy knowledge of power equations was confusing me, specifying exactly what I would need and the regulations around them. While I can't speak to the quality of any work he might carry out, I can absolutely reflect here on his friendly and professional approach, depth of knowledge, willingness to explain and share that knowledge. I intensely dislike there being work and systems in my house that I don't fully understand, so having him patiently explain things to be was incredibly helpful. When it comes time to do the final steps of the installation, I shall certainly be calling on him to complete the work. I can say hands down that that was some of the best telephone service I've had from a trade professional.

awesome company, fixed price given online, even when everything went wrong, second house visit needed as was a longer job than expected, floor boards up, full day instead of a couple of hours, they still charged the agreed price. service was spot on, both fitters were great and knowledgeable, Robert who did ours knew his stuff and worked flat out from the minute he got here till the minute he left. will definitely use again for anything else we have done and already recommending them to friends

We had our original slate roof completely redone after it took some major damage in the recent winter storms. Liam had some of the team out within a day to get us watertight until the works could be started. The team working on the house were very friendly and professional seeing the job done to a high standard ensuring we were happy with the results. Lords have been fantastic once again. I called with a minor tile problem which was causing a leak and Liam managed to fit me in the next day due to a cancellation being in the local area. The job was done in quick time and we’re really happy with the outcome and professionalism of lords once again. They’ve been to our house a couple times now over the years and same for my parents. Working with Liam and the Lords team was so easy and pleasant, I wish I'd have gone straight to them in the first place rather than getting booked in, delayed and generally run around by other roofers! Liam was easy to communicate with, super responsive and up front about the work, costs and timings. Everything was scheduled in and communicated well by Laura. Any questions I had, they were quick to answer. When it came to the actual work, the team of roofers were fast, respectful and friendly. Led by Alex who was the nicest guy, funny and hard working, the team would arrive around 8ish and made sure they cleaned up at the end of every day to the point where it was actually cleaner than when they arrived! The got on so well with the neighbours, even entertaining the toddler next door who watched them from the window! The work was all completed faster than expected (mostly due to them bringing in extra guys who all worked well together) and to a good standard, the house and garage roofs now look perfect. Both Alex and Liam assured me that they guarantee their work and if there are any issues in the future they wouldn't hesitate to come round and sort anything out. Overall I couldn't have hoped for a better experience from Lords, thank you!

We used Steve's company to replace the roof on our quite large victorian house. We had quotes from a couple of other well known roofing companies and Steve's quote was competitive. The project was well managed and though, (due to weather) it went on longer than Steve or us would have liked it to have done, their communication was good and we knew when they were going to be onsite working. Overall they've done a great job of our roof and I would recommend Newbould to others. Happy to provide a reference too...
