After Central Roofing replaced my storm-damaged summerhouse roof at short notice, I took them on to carry out a long-delayed roof refurbishment on my house and garage. This involved replacing and securing ridge tiles, fitting a dry verge to all gable ends, and replacing/reseating cracked and slipped tiles, along with repointing. Despite the complex roof layout, they did a marvellous job in just three days. Their staff were always pleasant and helpful, and everyone arrived when they said they would. The site was left clean and tidy. I can thoroughly recommend them for any roofing work.

Excellent service. Rob did a great job. I had to wait to get in touch with Hive to get a PIN number for the charger. He waited around for about 50 minutes until the charger was linked to the app. Would highly recommend Danlec for any upcoming EV charger installations

awesome company, fixed price given online, even when everything went wrong, second house visit needed as was a longer job than expected, floor boards up, full day instead of a couple of hours, they still charged the agreed price. service was spot on, both fitters were great and knowledgeable, Robert who did ours knew his stuff and worked flat out from the minute he got here till the minute he left. will definitely use again for anything else we have done and already recommending them to friends

Josh completed a complete reroof of our grade 2 listed property. All done with welsh slate and new leadwork. A joy to see a real craftsman at work. We are extremely pleased with the job and would highly recommend Josh and his team.

Absolutely recommend Josh and we haven't even had the work carried out as yet but we’re more than confident it will be spot on. Communication was outstanding, Josh turned up when he said he would and it was on a Sunday!!! Very polite and professional. He found the problem and is going to sort it. I will only be recommending JGR roofing from now on to my friends, family & clients as so many tradesman can't even answer the phone let alone turn up when promised. Josh was the only roofer that got in touch to give me a quote for storm damage to my roof. As soon as I contacted him to say the job was his he arranged the scaffolders they was there very quickly. Josh then turned up the following morning to do the job, the work was completed that day. I would highly recommend Josh and I he will be my first call if I have anymore issues with my roof.

Working with Liam and the Lords team was so easy and pleasant, I wish I'd have gone straight to them in the first place rather than getting booked in, delayed and generally run around by other roofers! Liam was easy to communicate with, super responsive and up front about the work, costs and timings. Everything was scheduled in and communicated well by Laura. Any questions I had, they were quick to answer. When it came to the actual work, the team of roofers were fast, respectful and friendly. Led by Alex who was the nicest guy, funny and hard working, the team would arrive around 8ish and made sure they cleaned up at the end of every day to the point where it was actually cleaner than when they arrived! The got on so well with the neighbours, even entertaining the toddler next door who watched them from the window! The work was all completed faster than expected (mostly due to them bringing in extra guys who all worked well together) and to a good standard, the house and garage roofs now look perfect. Both Alex and Liam assured me that they guarantee their work and if there are any issues in the future they wouldn't hesitate to come round and sort anything out. Overall I couldn't have hoped for a better experience from Lords, thank you!

We had our original slate roof completely redone after it took some major damage in the recent winter storms. Liam had some of the team out within a day to get us watertight until the works could be started. The team working on the house were very friendly and professional seeing the job done to a high standard ensuring we were happy with the results. Very reasonably priced for a great job, would thoroughly recommended them.

Couldn’t recommend Lords Roofing & Sons enough. We had complications along the way as structural engineering drawings were missing calculations for beams needed. Thanks to Liam and his lads for spotting this, as this would have been a very costly mistake. We are very happy with how the extension hipped roof looks. Liam and his lads have given us loads of tips and advice as this is going to be a self build / renovation project.

We ordered takeaway tonight from the newly opened Aleppy Kitchen at Castle Arms, Bolsover, and it was fantastic! The Chicken Biriyani was perfectly cooked, bursting with rich flavors. Me and my daughter were especially impressed with the Beef Roast and Kerala Porotta, which brought back nostalgic memories for me. The packaging was great, and the portions were generous. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and we’re excited for the restaurant to start dining in. Best of luck to everyone behind this venture.

Wow been here twice now within the last couple of weeks. Very different style of Indian Restaurant, they bring little sauces out for you to taste so they can get your hot & spice taste just right. I'm a Korma girl & they got it just right. The service off both Sri & Harry is very friendly. They are one of the only Indian restaurants I know that serve real ale on tap, not out of a bottle, which get changed regularly. Definitely one to watch out for with CAMRA. I have to finish my review with a little recommendation for the Deep Fried Ice Cream, OMG I've never in my life tasted flavour like it, only criticism is it needs to be 2 scoops 😅. Honestly go & try it for yourself. You won't be disappointed. Oh they've also got a large car park. Enjoy!

Searched around for a local electrician who installed home EV charges and came across Plexus Electrical. Michael was very informative in helping us choose the correct EV charger and arrived on time and was quick and tidy in his work. Michael also gave a run through the EV charger settings and set up along with sync the app. Great service and would definitely recommend them.

Both Michael and his assistant were punctual, polite, and efficient throughout the entire process.
