We had a wonderful Sunday roast while sitting outside, enjoying the beautiful views of the fields. The food was not only delicious but also complemented by the friendly and attentive service. The menu offers a great variety of options, catering to all tastes, which makes it even more appealing. This place is quickly becoming one of our favorite spots
Best Sunday Roast ever. Superbly presented and incredible tasty. Succulent meat and a real Yorkshire pudding. Great atmosphere and good service. Jack was especially welcoming and friendly. We been several times and thought it deserved a mention.
Love coming here on a Sunday as the roasts are great. The Nut roast is especially nice for any vegetarians! Been many times and had great experiences, the last time we went felt a bit over crowded with people waiting in the walkways as well as staff trying to get by with food and drinks. 100% recommend if you haven’t tried though
Nestled in the scenic Surrey Hills, Botley Hill Farmhouse offers a perfect escape from London’s bustle, combining stunning countryside views with hearty, well-prepared food. The first thing that stands out is the breathtaking location. Perched at one of the highest points in the North Downs, the farmhouse provides panoramic views of rolling fields and woodlands, making it an excellent spot for a relaxed meal, especially at sunset. Whether you’re dining inside the rustic yet elegant restaurant or outside on the terrace, the setting enhances the experience. The menu is a mix of classic British dishes with a modern touch. The Sunday roasts are a highlight, particularly the slow-roasted beef, which is tender and full of flavor, served with crispy roast potatoes, rich gravy, and perfectly cooked vegetables. The fish and chips are another standout, with a light, crispy batter and flaky fish. Vegetarian options, like the wild mushroom risotto, are equally satisfying. The desserts, particularly the sticky toffee pudding, are indulgent and well worth saving room for. Service is warm and efficient, adding to the welcoming atmosphere. Prices are reasonable for the quality and setting, making it a great choice for a special meal or a weekend outing. If you’re looking for a peaceful countryside retreat with excellent food and spectacular views, Botley Hill Farmhouse is well worth a visit.
We’ve been to this pub a few times. Standout is the service and the location, and just the beautiful building. The food is also really good. The ONLY thing I don’t like is the selection of beers/ciders on tap, they only serve the products of a local brewery. We always enjoy going and the kids love the garden. We will keep coming back.
