We had the pleasure of visiting this incredible pub on Bank Holiday Monday, and it truly exceeded our expectations. Despite arriving with a group of nine without a reservation, we were seated promptly, which was a wonderful start to our experience.

The staff were exceptionally friendly, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere from the moment we walked in. Our food arrived in good time, and we were thoroughly impressed by the presentation – every dish was beautifully crafted. And yes, the taste lived up to the appearance – absolutely delicious!

If you find yourself near Hever Castle, I highly recommend stopping by this pub for lunch. The beer selection is fantastic, with a great variety of ales available. With ample parking, it's a convenient and delightful choice for a meal.

Overall, I would rate our experience a perfect 10/10.

Live the area towards beer garden. Impressive interior . Staff were cool and friendly approach. Btw thats the only pub in area which has a long history same like Hever Castle.

This is a pub and restaurant you have to visit when you visit Hever Castle or are in the area. It’s just a short scenic walk from the castle grounds and everything about it is notable. The candle lit tables and fireplaces in the pub and restaurant areas of the iconic building make for a cozy atmosphere to have a great evening out. When the weather is nice, there is patio seating as well. The food and drinks are great and we love the staff! We’ll see you on our next family trip from the US.

Visit this pub regularly, it’s about a 20 minute walk from Hever train station. Amazing historic building and right next to Hever Castle.

The beer is always fantastic, they have a good selection of ales available and a variety of bar snacks.

The staff are always friendly and there’s never a wait to be served at the bar. As of now I’ve never eaten here, but the food always looks good. Prices are reasonable too.

The beer garden is a sun-trap, perfect on a summer day.

Stunning pub set close to Hever Castle. We had their turkey dinner which was totally amazing! Great service and atmosphere. We’ll definitely be coming back when we visit the UK. It’s also a must see around Christmas!
